Use characters from the X-Men to tell a story that spans the multiverse, Deadpool and Wolverine A bit like Spider-Man: No Way Home Some mutants sprinkled on top. This will have a huge impact on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially those of mutants, so io9 asked Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about X-Men and the next Spider-Man movie how is the progress.
“Amy [Pascal] I’m working on it,” Feige said of the next Spider-Man movie. “Our writers will give us a draft soon.”
As for X-Men, we didn’t specifically ask for an update; we wanted to know more about the tone and content. Since the X-Men have had so many different members and teams throughout their long history, we asked Feige: When mutants inevitably make their debut in the Marvel Universe, how will Marvel decide which mutants will make up the team?
“Well, it’s a phrase we use a lot at Marvel, which is ‘It’s an embarrassment of riches,'” Feige said. “There are a lot of great characters in ‘X-Men’ Deadpool and Wolverine Movie. There are so many great X-Men characters in all the Fox versions of X-Men X-Men Movie. There are also a lot of great X-Men characters who never made it to the big screen. So I think as we’ve been trying to do, as we did when we made the arrangement with Sony Spider-Manyou’ll likely see a mix of characters you’ve seen before and characters you’ve never seen before.
“I think success X-Men ’97 We’re really excited to see people revisit and reconnect with that world,” he continued. “I would say that the soap opera element of that world is one of the most exciting things that we’re finally incorporating into the Marvel Universe.”
As Deadpool and Wolverine say: “Let’s go!” Deadpool and Wolverine Releases July 26.
