To commemorate this occasion, Nintendo plans to launch the “Hyrule Edition” Switch Lite, which is now available for pre-order at Best Buy, GameStop and Target, priced at $209.99, and will be released on September 26. You still need to buy echo of wisdom Purchased separately, but the special edition console does include a 12-month personal subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + expansion packs (a $49.99 value) as a bonus.
The console features gold accents and black trim—a signature combination fit for Hylian royalty. The iconic coat of arms of the noble house adorns the rear, and you’ll find a smaller Triforce symbol in the lower right corner of the front. It’s no different than other Switch Lites, but considering echo of wisdom is the first Sarda The title actually features Princess Zelda as the main character, and even if you already own Nintendo’s dedicated handheld, the occasion might prompt you to pick it up.
Meanwhile, Nintendo’s premium subscription plan offers online play, cloud-based saves and the ability to play old classics from the Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, NES, SNES, N64 and even the Sega Genesis era. This includes foreshadowing Sarda Titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of the Gods. Needless to say, this is a great way to revisit your gaming roots whenever you’re feeling nostalgic.
