Seth Rogen An update on the planned sequel was recently provided Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
He shared that the film has a full storyboard animation and has a title, which Rogen is very excited about.
In an interview with CB, Rogen said: “There’s a title that’s really cool, but I don’t think I can say it. But when it came on the screen, I stood up and cheered. There’s an animation – there’s one throughout the movie A storyboard version, so they’re working on that now.
While we wait for the sequel to be released, we also have a spin-off series called Ninja Turtles Storywhich takes place after the events of the movie and keeps us entertained until the sequel comes out.
We don’t know much about the sequel, but one thing we do know is that it will introduce Shredder as the main villain. It has been previously explained that the sequel will be a “villain-forward” movie, focusing on “The Shredder”.
director Jeff Rowe Said: “Shredder is a great character. He’s an iconic, classic, beloved character. He’s like the Joker. Even if you don’t like the source material, you know who he is.
“I think we definitely want to do a villain movie. We’re currently trying to make decisions, but as filmmakers, those decisions always come from telling the best story, especially about our protagonists, the Turtles.
Law later shared: “Shredder used to be the main villain before we gave up on that. They saved the Joker. dark Knight”.
He went on to say that Shredder will be “100 times scarier than Superfly” in the sequel: “One thing I can say without spoiling anything is, [Shredder] Needs to be 100 times scarier than Superfly – he’s a believable villain, he’s dangerous, he’s powerful, he seems like he can mess up the Turtles. Shredder needs to do that and much more.
The director previously teased Schrader’s involvement, saying: “It’s fun and dramatic when you grow up and become as confident as a teenager and then go up against an enemy that’s three times more terrifying than anything you’ve ever seen before. ”.
He added: “It’s really fun to see these interesting characters going up against something they may not be able to stop.”
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next chapter of the story and how these characters’ stories continue to develop.
