Hello everyone and welcome to this week! It’s time again for us to look back at the noteworthy updates from the past seven days. Many of my favorite games are getting updates this week, and some are not my favorite games. As a fun game, try to guess which is which. Either way, it’s a solid list this time around. Of course, you can follow updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forum. This weekly summary is just to give you an idea of things you may have missed. Let us work hard together!
tiny townfree I wanted to win that award earlier this week so I will give this update the coveted UMMS system prize. Teeny Tiny Town is celebrating its anniversary and launching a cool new sci-fi theme as a little treat. It’s priced at $1.99, so you can think of it as a gift to the developer while also giving you something to play with. Like one of those boss goodie bags they gave out on birthdays when I was a kid. The presentation has also received some nice improvements, and you may now see cars or sheep snaking around. sheep? The prize is there.
Card Game-Aladdin X$2.99
water painting game There is an update! It brings an event into the game, but don’t expect it to be a fancy thing. In July (well, until July 27th), the Summer Harvest Skin will be available. Just click the button on the title screen. Among other things, this update also lets you choose whether the poppies cycle when you walk towards the edge of the jar. Hey, that’s it.
Jetpack ride, free Betty Beef Patty? Apparently this is a new skin for the game. Professor Brain is in hot pursuit, so you’re going to have to do some serious jetpacking… jetpacking? Nice screen push. If you push the screen well, there may be new skins. Maybe not. Sean is tired and needs a tooth pulled. Now move on to the next game and maybe make this paragraph a little longer so the formatting isn’t broken.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure, well, the game has been out long enough for the event to return. The Sunshine Celebration is back, and not only are classic rewards returning, but there will also be tons of new rewards available. Collect lemons to make lemonade and get some cool citrus-themed goodies. There are also some new horse avatars for those who want to ride, as well as some new music players, stories, visitors, and more. This is a huge update with a lot to play with. So, you know…let’s go. Play.
Marvel Snapshotfree in addition to regular OTA updates, Marvel Snapshot Last week got a fitting update, with deck chairs set up for the July Deadpool festivities, which will begin after we let the Eternals go. The title of the new season is “Best Effort,” which sounds compelling. New cards apparently include Gwenpool, Hydra Bob, Ajax, Copycat, and Cassandra Nova. The new locations are Taco Truck and Weapon X Facility. detail? I’ll let you know when I find out! Additionally, a new game mode will be part of the festivities, and it’s called “Deadpool’s Dinner.” pretty. Expect to find out what this all means this weekend.
Angry Birds Reloadedsummer updates are popular right now, and Angry Birds Reloaded will get a piece of the pie. Midsummer Brawl 2 is out now, with 30 sunny levels to play and a new bird in the form of Tony. Apparently he went fishing and the pigs somehow ruined his life, maybe by existing. We know birds won’t stand for this nonsense. There’s also a new boss level to tackle. I mean, if you already have Apple Arcade, that’s fine too. No one really hates Angry Birds, right? Here’s my new idea for boosting comment engagement. If you say “No one does X” then people will post about it.
Disney Dream Valley, Mengguang Valley has a new area to explore. Mulan and Mu Shu are about to join the community, and you must help Mu Shu in the training camp while honing your skills with Mulan to test your strength. Let’s get down to business! Who is that girl I see? A girl worth fighting for! Be true to your heart! You must be true to your heart! Are these all songs? I haven’t seen it Mulan Wait a moment. I should watch it again. I know it has its problems and isn’t considered one of the best Disney movies or anything, but it’s fun. Anyway, this game. Mulan and Mushu. Isn’t that cute?
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop, did I mention last time how this game’s title attempts to combine two titles that the series has localized? Well, I just did that. This update adds a new Chain Simulator mode, allowing you to practice chain making by arranging Puyos to your liking. Six new character episodes have been added to Adventure Mode, and as you clear each episode you’ll unlock that character to enter the playable roster. Finally, six new music tracks from the past swirl The game has been added to the store. Oh, and some minor bug fixes. A little reward for being a good boy.
Brawl Stars, free Okay, let’s take a look at this. indirect. That’s dangerous. Anyway, the new Classic Brawl event has arrived, and as usual there are some new brawlers joining the mix. Berry and Clancy. I don’t know who they are, but they’re new. Let’s see… new Hypercharges, some Brawl Pass Seasons, some new seasonal game modes, some reworks of existing characters, and a few other little things. I could take a closer look at this, but I’m hungry. I’m sure fans of this game can’t wait. Those who don’t know can enjoy a fun exercise in imagining what Clancy would look like.
royal match, free As we always do, let’s wrap it up with this week’s mandatory free matching puzzle game update. You have a hundred new levels to play, the new area this time is the Aviation Festival, I hope they throw that idiot King Robert out of a plane without a parachute. I hate him so much it’s untrue. There are also new activities, with some challenges and rewards. You know, like what happens in these kinds of things. King Robert, like the judge in “The Movie,” melts in paint thinner Roger Rabbit.
That wraps up last week’s big update. I’m sure I missed something, though, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think there’s something that should be mentioned. As usual, the big updates will likely get their own press coverage this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the gaps. Have a great week!
