modder The Witcher 3 It’s only been two months since developer CD Projekt Red’s official tools were used, but they’re already making the most of them. One ambitious modder was able to recreate some Map of the first game The new tool was released just one day later. Recently, a new model Giving this already ambitious role-playing game a full-fledged reputation system, reinstating a concept that the mod’s description claims was removed from the original version.
mod (first pointed out is IGN) simply titled “Reputation System” was uploaded on July 18th by Nexus Mods user FreakVlp. He has a variety of influences on various activities. For those using the mod in the new game, there will now be five reputation levels that influence how the world reacts to Geralt. From worst to best, the scale is: hate, dislike, neutral, like, and respected.
Levels are determined on a 100-point scale, with each level having a specific range. For example, neutral is between 40 and 60. Signing Witcher contracts and winning horse/boating or boxing matches will increase your reputation. Depending on your choices, some major missions also have a reputation impact, and if you steal or brandish a weapon in front of a guard, you’ll lose reputation points. This system hopes to punish (or reward) you by focusing the consequences where it matters: your wallet. A better reputation level will provide you with discounts in the store while allowing you to sell items at higher prices. If Geralt is not popular with the locals, the opposite is true.
The mod claims to have restored the system after CDPR removed it from the game at some point during development. my city CD Projekt Red has been contacted for confirmation or comment.
