There are dozens of Blu-ray bundle deals available during Amazon Prime Day. As expected, some of these products sold out during the two-day sale, but one of the sold-out deals is back. The Matrix Deja Vu Collection, a box set that includes all four live-action films in the iconic science fiction series, is on sale for $38 on Amazon and Walmart (regularly $60). It’s worth noting that online movie store Gruv is a seller for both retailers, so shipping won’t be as fast (about a week), but you’ll still get free shipping. Alternatively, you can buy the four-movie collection on 1080p Blu-ray for just $15.

The first The Matrix movie came out all the way back in 1999, and is arguably still the best of the bunch, and has held up surprisingly well over the years. A masterpiece of storytelling, action, special effects and sound design, it was a lean and mediocre blockbuster that took the world by storm and broke new ground at the time with its slow-motion choreography. It feels almost done Every Since the film’s release, action movies are imitating Neo’s bullet-dodging acrobatics.
While The Matrix Reloaded and Revolution are not as highly regarded, they are still great movies in their own right. The Wachowskis returned to direct the follow-up, and with a bigger budget, the film’s action scenes reached new heights, including a highway chase scene, a massive brawl at a Merovingian estate, and the human race against countless others. Total War for Zion. The Matrix: Resurrection is a nostalgic return to that universe, and while it’s not as grand as the previous film, it still has some interesting ideas and themes worth exploring. There are tons of extras in the series, including interviews, trailers and behind-the-scenes footage.
