Today is a big day for Diablo 4 players everywhere. Following last year’s release, the first new class in the action RPG will arrive this October with the Containers of Hate expansion. It’s called Spiritrborn, and it’s something completely new to the series.
All of which are good reasons to show off the new classes in more detail, which is exactly what Blizzard did today in a dedicated reveal.

Today’s Spiritborn live broadcast will show off the gameplay for the first time, which everyone has been waiting for. Diablo 4 doesn’t lack for a variety of classes, but anyone who’s played it will tell you that it could really use some fresh content, and a new class would be only matter.
The showcase will also delve deeper into the creation of the Spiritborn, including the design ethos, lore, art, and how the class ties into the jungle setting of Nahantu, a new zone in Containers of Hate.
