As in the first season, the director is Junji Nishimura, known for his works such as “SAMURAI DEEPER KYO” and “Kyo Kara Maoh!”, while the music and script are composed and written by Junji Nishimura, known for his works such as “Ghost in the Shell” and “Sky Crawler” The famous Mamoru Oshii was in charge. In addition, Sakamoto Maaya plays a crucial role “Akira” in the play.
Sakamoto Maaya’s review
The ending theme of the first season, “Mada Tooku ni Iru” is a powerful song that encourages the characters. However, this song is completely different, with a gentle melody.
As they encounter powerful enemies on their journey, this music wraps them in a warm blanket, assuring them that everything will be okay and the future will be bright.
In the real world, many children are currently living in fear, unable to sleep due to the flames of conflict. This song was written with the hope of hugging those lives tightly and encouraging them to keep hope no matter what the circumstances. Chisato Oe generously composed this tender piece.
