This sensory set contains a deck of 12 cards. One side of the card features images designed to visually stimulate babies, including swirls, stripes and other contrasting black and white designs. Since babies’ eyes are not fully developed at birth, using stimulating flashcards can help babies develop vision and form connections in their little brains. The sensory flashcards were designed with the help of orthotists at Sussex Baby Lab and research partner Etta Loves. The deck also comes with a card with ideas for using the cards and facts about how babies’ vision develops as they age.
