the best Weird Alyankovic Announced that he will be releasing a new song and music video this Friday! It’s ten years after his last studio album, and two years after the release of his fun and silly semi-autobiography, which included many of his classics, as well as Yankovic’s last new song, “Now You Know,” The song is in the end credits.
Yankovic teased the future of his music career last year, telling ComicBook: “I don’t think I’ll ever make a traditional album again. The soundtrack came out last year, but it was a different artist’s album.
“I’m not giving up on music – I’ll probably put out at least one new song next year. But I really don’t like the business model of waiting until I have twelve songs and then putting them all out at once.
“I like to come up with an idea and if it’s good enough, I want to implement it immediately, and now I can because I’m not bound by any business model contract.”
This is so cool. I love Weird Al and have my whole life. I grew up singing his songs, looking forward to his albums, and I look forward to listening to new songs and videos whenever he releases them.
