Man, just when you thought everything was going to go smoothly this season, another contestant’s ex decides to launch TikTok and more and more information comes to light. Remember, this also happens on Rachel and Gabby’s season. After the first episode ended, we all remember Kelsey coming out on TikTok to say that she watched the first episode and found out that the man she dated for 1.5 years (Nate Mitchell) had a daughter. This led me to contact her to make sure it was legit and she then went ahead and sent me a 32 page Google drive with photos and everything detailing their entire relationship timeline. Well, the same thing happened on Sunday when I was notified of Raeley’s TikTok last week. I reached out to her, she responded, we spoke on the phone, and what she told me was what I relayed on my YouTube live broadcast on Sunday night.
Here’s a YouTube video from Sunday night’s live broadcast. I spoke with Megan Fox about David Gingras (Laura’s attorney) returning to Twitter after a three-week hiatus and doing Gingras things, and offering up on Sam McKinney’s ex, who described their relationship on TikTok last week as much detail as possible. I spoke to her on Sunday afternoon and relayed her message as best I could. Go check it out and subscribe (discussion about Sam’s ex starts around 59:00)
I think the two takeaways from my conversations with Raeley and Sierra are:
1) Sam McKinney knew before he was cast on Jenn’s season that he would have to go home before filming ended because he was the officiant at his sister’s (Olivia) wedding. Hell, even his brother-in-law (Ed) mentioned this the day the casting was announced. This is what was written in the Facebook comments under Sam’s photo in March. So, yeah, when Sam knows he has to come back and the showrunners know he has to come back, it’s hard to take anything he says on the show this season seriously. It’s a good thing the screenshots were sent to me in March because these FB profiles were only kept for 3 days and ABC deleted them once filming started.
Olivia and Ed’s wedding took place on May 10th. Go look it up on Google. Everything is there. Jenn’s last rose ceremony was May 16th. So, yeah, unfortunately, no matter what anyone in his family would try to sell, Sam would never make it to the end. Honestly. that’s all.
2) Sam cited his contract situation for being on the show as the reason why he didn’t tell Raeley that he would be on The Bachelorette until the day he left to film, and when he got home he told her that he felt Jen had lied and she The sentiment is all over the place, “You’ll see who she ends up with.” I’m paraphrasing here because I didn’t hear the conversation between Sam and Raeley, but when Raeley told me this, I believed her, Because she provided evidence and receipts about their relationship. Reilly showed me more about their relationship than I needed to know. It’s clear that Sam is just telling women what they want to hear and then allowing himself to be the victim of it all. It’s unfortunate, but that’s what happened here.
Reader emails will be back tomorrow as I saved some of last week’s emails, as well as some that have come in since last Wednesday. But of course, I could always use more. Please email me at [email protected] or hit me up on IG or Twitter and I’ll have them in tomorrow’s column.
Some prime bachelorette news for you. As reported on my social media accounts on Sunday, Joan had a hometown date in Wichita, Kansas, last Sunday with Chock Chapple, her current Disney star this season The first one-on-one date in Paradise. I recognized him last week and thought he would play a big role this season, and now he’s back in his hometown. We don’t know how many hometown dates there are on this show. Gerry’s season had three people – Faith, Theresa and Leslie. As far as we know, the flagship show has four per season. We also don’t know what #HometownChock’s is. First? the second? third? Maybe fourth? All we know is that his hometown was last Sunday. Any new messages I receive I will communicate as soon as possible.
