According to some updates on Rockstar’s official website, Rockstar may soon launch a subscription service on Nintendo Switch.
Tez2 was focused on monitoring Rockstar, and he used his eagle eye skills to spot the changes. According to Tez2 , Rockstar has updated the GTA+ page to include the Nintendo Switch as a supported platform, although these changes have not yet been announced to the public.
The subscription service, currently priced at $7.99/£6.99, is not actually required to play GTA V online. However, it does come with a lot of perks for the game, such as in-game cash, access to special clubs, and more. It also offers you some classic Rockstar games: Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, GTA: Trilogy, GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Chinatown Wars.
There’s a slight problem with this idea, though: Grand Theft Auto V isn’t available on Switch, which makes the subscription service’s name a bit confusing. To make it work, Rockstar will probably need to rename the service and remove all GTA V perks, unless the idea is to allow existing subscribers who play the game on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation to access some classics on Switch Games as rewards.
I want to end this news article by saying that if we launch GTA V on Switch before Red Dead Redemption on PC or the current version of Red Dead Redemption 2, I will scream.
