Trevor Jones’ New Genesis BTC Series: CryptoAngels
Known for his innovative blend of physical and digital art, Trevor Jones continues to push the boundaries of the NFT space with his latest series, CryptoAngels. Bitcoin Angel Tour
In 2021, Jones made headlines with his Bitcoin Angel public version, selling 4,158 copies in just 7 minutes for a whopping $3.2 million. This success laid the foundation for his latest venture, which combines art, community and technology in unprecedented ways. His annual castle party celebrates art, culture and philanthropy, further cementing his place in the Web3 world.
Breaking down the CryptoAngels series
Jones’ CryptoAngels series is divided into two main phases: Archangels and CryptoAngels.
- Stage One: Archangel In the first phase of “Archangels,” 21 collection packs were sold for 87.9 ETH (approximately $335,291). Each package includes:
- Physical Bronze Sculpture of Bitcoin Angel
- 3D avatar NFT
- Archangel serial number
Respected collectors like ModeratsArt, Batsoupyum, Bharat Krymo, Blondie23LMD, and 1Confirmation now lead the CryptoAngel Army as Archangel Collectors.
- Phase Two: Crypto Angels The second phase will launch on August 7th with 7,777 unique CryptoAngels. Starting from the whitelisting phase, these will be minted through OrdinalsBot. Each CryptoAngel is unique and named by Jones himself. The collection is divided into 21 groups, each associated with an Archangel collector, fostering sub-communities within the broader collection. Additionally, there are seven 1/1 CryptoAngels, making them incredibly rare and inconsistent with any of their kind.
Connecting Bitcoin and Art
Jones, an avid supporter of Bitcoin since mid-2017, expressed his deep connection with the cryptocurrency community. He sees the CryptoAngels series as a tribute to this community, bringing his signature Bitcoin Angels theme to the blockchain.
“I have personally been investing in Bitcoin since mid-2017, and its ethos quickly inspired my journey into crypto art. I have been following the development of Ordinals since its inception, and the CryptoAngels series is my offering to the community. “The community welcomed me with open arms and the opportunity to bring my Bitcoin Angel theme onto the chain where it was meant to be,” said artist Trevor Jones.
Collector’s Insights
“The Bitcoin Angels behind Bitcoin OG artist Trevor Jones put ordinal numbers on an immutable chain, a perfect match in crypto-native art heaven.” – Bharat Krymo (@krybharat – Archangel Collection Home)
“The 2018 “Bitcoin Angels” oil painting was one of the first cryptoarts to pay homage to Bitcoin, so “CryptoAngels” on Ordinals is a natural extension of Trevor’s artistic journey” – batsoupyum (Archangel Collector)

Complementing the collection, 21 Special Angels will be minted at Base for $7 each and playable in the exclusive retro arcade game Dante’s Pixel Inferno.
