Days of Our Lives spoilers will tease the long-awaited beginning of Teresa’s end the week of July 15.
Stories tend to get dragged out over a few days anyway, but if the regular writers had been able to take the helm, rather than the replacement scribes marking time until the strike was over, this one might have been months ago.
The good news is that Teresa’s plans will eventually start to unravel, and the drama will end with Bonnie and Maggie pushing for her and Alex to have a double wedding with Xander and Sarah.
Wedding disasters are a tradition in our lives
This is the second time Xander’s double wedding has run into trouble
Xander has good reason to be reluctant to attend a double wedding – his last wedding ended in disaster, as Leo was revealed to be the one who cheated on Craig and Gwen was eventually arrested for poisoning Abigail.

Bonnie’s insistence that he and Sarah agree to have this new double wedding with Xander’s least favorite person leads to a predictable twist, but that’s okay.
The sooner this horrific storyline ends, the better.
Theresa’s decision to change Victor’s succession never made any sense.
She’s busy convincing Brady to give her another chance, so why would she care so much about screwing over Xander for money and marrying Alex that she’d team up with slimy Constantine?
The entire story relies on outdated TV tropes about Theresa’s motivations, and it goes downhill from there.
Teresa’s character assassination was bad enough, but Alex became unbearable. When he first learned he was Victor’s son, he was terrifying to Justin, who raised him and loved him from day one and that hasn’t changed since then .
Add to this the fact that Alex has been squandering his inheritance like there’s no tomorrow and only reconciled with Teresa after Kristen lost interest in being his sidekick, and you have a recipe for an audience to root for a failed relationship .

Abe and Kate move forward with plans to purchase the rights to “Body & Soul.”
Paulina is supportive, but what will Chad think of Kate’s investment advice?
It’s great that Abe has a story again, but it’s even more ridiculous than Nurse Whitley’s nonsense.

Abe, once a no-nonsense man, worked with Romain at the police station, caring for his autistic son, and stood up to his wife DiMera when her side got the upper hand.
Now he’s a stupid guy who for nearly a year was tricked into thinking a delusional woman was his wife and can’t stand the thought of his favorite soap opera being taken off the air.
Still, Abe and Kate are always fun to watch together, and Kate’s attempts to convince Chad (who’s busy trying to find answers to whether his late wife is still alive) to buy their business is hilarious.
Stephanie was heartbroken.
Everett still wasn’t who he seemed, and she would soon learn that.
Days of Our Lives finally breaks away from its own stereotypes by having Marina tell Jada that most people with mental illness are not violent. However, Everett/Bobby’s folly doesn’t make for a touching mental health story at all.
Bobby pretended to be Everett so he could leave Bayview, and now he’s teaming up with murderous stalker Connie to get rid of the competition so he can have Jada all to himself.
Not only does this plan not work, it makes Marlena’s comments about mental illness not equating to violence ring hollow. She should also have the expertise to tell when Bobby is faking it and know that he is not “gone forever.” Just saying.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7/15/24 say Bobby will soon break up with Stephanie or otherwise make it clear there is no future. Will she realize who she’s dealing with?
Two men suffer the consequences for their roles in the baby switch.
Marlena lashed out at EJ, while Nicole let Leo know exactly how she felt about EJ’s behavior.

it’s time! Marlena has stayed cool and collected since learning that EJ was pretending to be the father of Nicole’s baby, but now her inner mama bear is about to come out.
No one deserves it more than EJ. Yes, Nicole swapped Sydney and Mia in the past, but that doesn’t mean EJ should get a free pass.
If she knew the truth, she would stay with him and figure out how to co-parent. Now that he had lied, she realized that he was still the same man who had to hide his last pregnancy from her for the safety of the child.
A love triangle is heating up… but for one character, it’s almost over.
Nicole and Eric discuss their future, and EJ isn’t ready to let Nicole go.
This compelling storyline makes the reason star Arianne Zucker filed a lawsuit against Days of Our Lives all the more heartbreaking.
Nicole is considering a future with Eric, and EJ is determined to win her back.
She’s a better fit for EJ, but he’s supposed to be out with her now, and I’m curious if Nicole and Eric can go five minutes this time without her doing something that causes him to banish her from his life.
This is easily the best storyline out there, but with Nicole’s last air date only two weeks away, there’s not a lot of time to develop it. Still, at least it’s airing now, which is better than nothing.
Holly and Tate’s plans face a new threat.
Sofia didn’t stop their backstabbing as she claimed.
Who didn’t foresee the plot twist?
I was skeptical from the start that Tate and Holly’s plan would work, and Sofia’s resentment of Tate not liking her didn’t help.
The first rule of soap operas is that anyone who says they’re done soon is secretly plotting their perfect revenge, and this is even more true for soap opera teens.
The only question here is how Sophia will use her power over Tate and Holly.
Some surprising acts of kindness can lead to heartbreak.
Justin had a nice word for Alex, and Xander got Jack a gift.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 15, 2020 reveal that the build-up to the wedding is gearing up for the big reveal, especially as Justin struggles to come to terms with Alex’s relationship with Teresa.
I’m more interested in Xander’s gift to Jack. Xander is the one who wants to get married, so why would he give Jack anything?
Now that Jack seems to be popping up again these days, could Xander return the Salem audience to him?
Prenuptial plans hint that Teresa’s lies are coming to an end.
Alex and Justin’s truce doesn’t last long, but what happens when the truth comes out?
As expected, Justin and Alex are in trouble again before the wedding, which means Alex will have plenty of humble pie to eat when everything falls apart.
He may double down on his determination to work with Teresa and may decide to cut Justin out of his life.
When the truth comes out, he must turn this unnecessary family drama around. Justin might forgive him instantly, but that doesn’t mean Alex’s words aren’t as hurtful as they can be.
The double wedding disaster begins.
Xander and Sarah are confident in their plan, but will Xander’s mother arrive and ruin everything?
Forget about unraveling Theresa’s secret – it’s obvious how things are going to go. The real excitement here is meeting Xander’s mother (Serena Scott Thomas).

Xander has dropped hints about who she is over the years, but none of them were good.
She was said to be an alcoholic who abused and neglected him, which made Sarah’s insistence that their daughter needed to know her grandmother bizarre.
