Adafruit forum user IanLukeFinley created the Glowing Zagreus Cosplay from Hades.
There are actually four different animations: the fire on the head and feet, the pulsing in the skull’s eyes, and then the chase and pulsing in the sword. It also offers a solid red/green option via switch. I connected a set of three AA batteries in series to power the (NeoPixel) light and the Adafruit Metro board.
