Ninja Turtles: Reborn, Vol. 7—Isolation (IDW Publishing) The label on the cover reads “Armageddon Games” and the seven issues included in this collection are apparently the ones published on the homepage TMNT comics Ninja Turtles: Armageddon Game The miniseries is unfolding. So it’s clear that a lot of other content for the stars of the series is going on elsewhere that only occasionally intersects with the storylines collected in this deal. Still, it’s surprisingly readable, with only two or three questions clearly affected by other content.
The first five issues or so are relatively simple, focusing on the two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles still in Mutant Town, Donatello and Janeca, while the other three issues are doing other things. Donatello is running a surveillance array, trying to keep tabs on everything that’s going on in the town while protecting Seri, the triceratops regent. Meanwhile, Jennika will serve as the town police officer, while Raphael will join the series.
Mayor Baxter Stockman gives a city hall address where he is attacked on camera by four white-masked mutant turtles holding familiar-looking weapons (these appear to be Campbell’s drawings of turtles) TMNT FCBD 2022: Doomsday Gamecollected in Ninja Turtles: Reborn, Vol. 6). This caused riots in Mutant Town, with people from different factions reacting violently in different directions. Meanwhile, the Utrom family of Burno Island sends an assassination team to eliminate Seri, while Donatello experiments with a magical crystal reminiscent of the events of 1986. Donatello It’s a “micro-series” in a way.
Things get really weird midway through issue five, where a bunch of other characters could be from end of the world game Add in a fight scene that evolves from issue to issue to include more non-realm players, including the IDW version of Cadley from the old Archie comics. I realize that I’m reading this article the “wrong” way, and that ideally it would be in a single issue published continuously; presumably, this stuff would make more sense that way.
From there, the reunited five Ninja Turtles are whisked away to learn new Tenth secret moves from Shredder and Fox, and in a gripping finale face off against the Rat King, the prime mover behind the apocalyptic game By.
Sophie Campbell continues to write the series, while Fero Pe handles all art. As usual, I prefer Campbell, at least the pencil art, to the others, but Pei is pretty good and the style is well within Campbell’s range. However, my favorite part of the collection is the cover collaboration between Campbell and Kevin Eastman, seven of which are featured. In my opinion, this is the ideal Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles art team, and hopefully IDW will eventually get them to work on a famous graphic novel together, maybe one that Campbell writes as well.

Batman vs. The Joker: The Deadly Duo: Deluxe Edition (DC Comics) Superstar artist, Image co-founder and Top Cow founder Marc Silvestri has been given a special showcase series on DC’s mature readers Black Label imprint, and he’s playing with two of the most popular toys in the publisher’s toy box.
Originally a seven-issue miniseries, Batman and the Joker: The Deadly Duo Depicting an unlikely and rather unequal “teamwork” between two sworn enemies, written and drawn by Silvestri (colors provided by colorist Arif Prianto Art).
This is forced by the mysterious new villain, who spends most of the series hiding under a purple hood and cape (this is the villain on the cover, under Batman’s right wing). By kidnapping Commissioner Gordon and Harley Quinn, the villain forces the two to work together, setting them up for a series of seemingly impossible and near-impossible things. saw-Similar tasks involving deciding who deserves to live and who deserves to die.
Meanwhile, a powerful and tough creature with a body resembling the Joker is carrying out a series of gruesome beheadings. All the victims appear to be connected to the same incident, a botched cash truck robbery at a high-society wedding that turns into a hostage situation, which is brought to light by the bride’s father, who happens to be involved in cutting-edge genetic research. Blame it on Batman, Joker, and Gotham PD were similarly treated for their tragic, death-heavy endings.
Well, he seems to be the obvious suspect, and while it’s not a mystery story, Silvestri doeWe managed to throw a convincing curveball. There’s also some misinformation about the Joker’s motivations for collaborating. He doesn’t really want to save Harley Quinn, but rather allow the villain to fulfill his greatest wish, and the villain has the means to make it happen. As for what that is, well, it’s worth reading to find out, isn’t it?
The story is engaging enough, and Silvestri does a great job with his portrayal of a variety of characters, including Batman mainstay Harvey Bullock, Alfred, Nightwing, Catwoman, and Batgirl Barbara ·Gordon. This setup of bringing Joker and Batman together as a team works, especially considering how difficult the storytelling is and the various riffs on the nature of Batman, Joker, and their relationship to each other. Satisfactory.
Given Silvestri’s reputation as an artist, I’m honestly surprised at how well he writes. Sure, it’s not a revelatory or revolutionary comic, but it’s not bad at all.
Of course, the real purpose of this endeavor is to showcase Silvestri’s artwork, specifically as applied to Batman. This shouldn’t disappoint any fans of the artist, or, I think, many Batman fans. While the storytelling isn’t the greatest, and the images don’t always come together in a compelling way, the individual images are strong overall, highlighting Silvestri’s characterization and a particularly powerful bat Xia.
I read the story in the “deluxe” hardcover edition, which means that, in addition to the 38 pages of different covers on the back, there’s a similar amount of space devoted to Silvestri’s original pencils, as well as Silvestri’s Westri’s postscript.
As for the variants, they are created by particularly high-quality artists, and chances are, your favorite Batman artist drew one of them. EDILW’s favorite artists to draw variants include Kelley Jones, Mike Mignola, Kyle Hotz, John McCrea, Simon Bisley, and Guillem March, and if I heard they were drawing 150 pages or so of Batman/I’d be rolling over.clown story deadly duo If any of them did, things would be very, very different. After all, this is a Silvestri story through and through.
Comey Can’t Communicate Vol. 27 (i.e. comics) The book features a dramatization of children playing online games Amanjit Asu, I think is an off-brand version of the game between us, (enabled by Comey finally getting a new smartphone), but I don’t know much about video games and I’m just guessing. This article takes up about 70 pages in total, and considering I have no real knowledge of the game and only a tiny bit of knowledge of what’s going on, it’s a bit of an understatement for this long-running series. The pleasant part of people.
The rest of the volume involves some new phone pranks, where boys can’t talk to girls who play soccer and the girls discuss kissing – the climax of which is when Mei brings up the subject to Tadano.

ghost book (Henry Holt and Company) Want to hear about a weird coincidence? I checked this book out from the library and knew nothing about it other than that it was by the great Remy Lai and that it had something to do with ghosts. I decided to wait until my trip to Baltimore to read this book because I knew I would have a lot of downtime by myself in a hotel room and would need a lot of reading material. A few weeks later, on my drive to Baltimore, I was listening to the audiobook version of Ken Jennings 100 places you must visit after you die. In the mythology section, there is a chapter about the Chinese afterlife, which mentions “ghoulish bureaucrats like horses and bull heads.” Just a few hours later, when I opened ghost book, who did I see in the first few pages besides the horse face and the bull head! Actually, ghost book It deals very directly with the Chinese underworld and superstitions about death. This is a fun children’s adventure that makes the most of these sources of inspiration. You can read more about it here.
