Phoebe returned to Earth a year ago and it’s time to celebrate in New York!
If you’re in need of some fuzzy, free, “furry” fun, your family can check out Hasbro’s Furby Wuz Here event in New York City. From now until July 17, visitors and residents can use the map to locate mischievous moments in the city, including furry Furby cribs from the ’90s.
These include giant Furby footprints, paint and glitter on the sidewalk, and objects wrapped in fur. Children can follow Phoebe’s footsteps and find furry lampposts, bicycles, cones, benches and newsstands that compliment the character’s makeup skills. These items and photo spots are located in Herald Square, Astor Square, Elizabeth Street Gardens and other areas throughout the city. Visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #FurbyWuzHere when posting photos and videos online.
Families can also visit Furby’s Crib on July 14 by registering for a time slot at eventbrite.com – remember, the Crib is only open to visitors for one day. The fur-covered ’90s-themed room features a disco ball, posters, lava lamps, and more inspired by Furby’s first visit to Earth in 1998!
Families can track down Furby until July 17th – you can find Furby friends below to start your Furby-themed adventures!
