Charlize Theron hosted the fourth annual block party for her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project on Saturday, where she also shared her thoughts on Furiosa: The Legend of Mad Max.

Theron confirmed she’d seen the new movie and told hollywood reporter, “It’s amazing, it’s a beautiful movie.” When asked if she had spoken to Taylor-Joy throughout the process or since the film’s release, Theron explained: “No, we really have been It’s one of those things where we’re trying to connect – we can actually make a comedy out of it when we don’t have time to really talk to each other, so we always end up saying, “Oh my gosh, okay, let’s get together! ” Then life happens. Currently, Theron’s focus is CTAOP, an organization she launched in 2007 to support the health and safety of young people in South Africa. The star was born in South Africa, where CTAOP’s programs have reached more than 4 million young people since its inception, focusing on HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health, education and gender-based violence.
Looking back on the past 17 years and what she knows now and what she wishes she had known then, Theron said, “I wish I could have been more level-headed about the fact that things can’t change overnight. I think when we started We’re very overwhelmed because these are really big problems – they’re not easy to solve, and unfortunately they’ve been around for a long time. So in order to address such a broad problem, we specifically target HIV and HIV. AIDS has been studied. Saturday’s block party event at Universal Studios’ backlot once again supports the organization while also celebrating the release of new Universal Studios movies; this year, tornado Director Lee Isaac Chung and stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Brendan Perea attended the film’s celebration.
At the event, Theron thanked tornado “Because I know you’ve come back from a long press week – whatever it’s called, where you had to cross a vast desert. That’s what we as a team wanted to do on this movie, we were trying to throw a party for the summer, so it felt right to be at that party.
Lenny Wilson and Tanner Adell, who sang songs in the film, performed at the event. The outdoor locations are also decorated a lot tornado– Inspired features including a wind machine and mechanical bull that Powell and Edgar Jones experimented with together.
