The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for watching this Friday. Bring you a good show. We’ll look back at the 4th of July. We’re going to go over some of yesterday’s Rose Game interview. As I record this.
I had a blackout. Well, actually I shouldn’t say a power outage, an internet outage that apparently won’t be corrected until one in the morning, and Brian and Rachel’s divorce making things even uglier. This time Bryan himself had more to say in a new document released a few days ago.
Caitlin has a new job, but she doesn’t tell us what it is. Talk about that. We’ll get to all of this later. So last night, the 4th of July, I hope you all had a safe and happy 4th of July. My time is spent catching up on some shows, watching fireworks or listening to them in the living room.
Watch my dog petrified by them and then catch up on more shows. Another thing I do is I actually start writing out your episodes spoiler by episode. I’m proud of myself because, as I mentioned yesterday, I think there’s a good chance I’ll have to wait until Sunday night, after I’m done streaming and recording Monday’s daily roundup on Sports Daily.
But this would be a lot of time consuming. So I passed. I shot the first three episodes yesterday and I’m going to shoot the next three today and then some more over the weekend. So I have a lot less to do and review. I’ve told you guys, I’ve given you pretty much everything verbally on my podcast.
I guess none of you wrote it down. That’s why I wanted to write it down for you. I guess I’ll talk about it verbally again on Sunday, but after Monday’s premiere episode, when they gave us a three and a half minute trailer for the season, I guess there’s no way they’re going to continue to be able to hide everything I need, like Two or three things are the same.
So I’m sure I’ll have everything sorted for you after Monday. Having said that, things get a lot easier. So I thought maybe I’d just do the episode-by-episode spoilers in writing and post them on Tuesday instead of Monday, because if I posted on Monday I’d have some corrections or additions to them after watching the trailers. Will give up something because they can’t control themselves.
That three-and-a-half-minute trailer for each season definitely gives something away. All you have to do is sit there and watch and pause the TV. You’ll be able to piece together who was on what date, where on what date, and more. They do this every season. I remember last year for charity, they revealed the fact that, oh, what’s his name?
Who finished third. I was completely confused by his name. Xavier. God, how could I forget Xavier? It’s not a common name, but Xavier, who they revealed in the season trailer for Overnight. So, that’s what I mean. Like, I know they’re going to reveal who the third guy is over the night, even though by Sunday, I’ll be able to tell you, I’m not 100 percent sure who that guy is, but I’m as close to it as I can get.
I’m almost certain. Obviously we know Devin and Marcus are two of our final three. I have pictures of the two of them in Hawaii. so. In fact, I have never posted a photo of Devon that I took in Hawaii. I guess I didn’t feel the need, but yeah, I had a picture of him in there. Me, we have a photo of Devon that I posted the day before my last rose ceremony on May 16th.
So we know who two of these three people are. I’m pretty sure I know who the third one is. Now I’ll be reviewing all of this on Sunday’s live broadcast. I was going to take your questions on Friday and any other issues you’d like to discuss. I’m working on something today for podcast number 400, next week’s Thursday podcast, the weekly podcast is podcast number three 99.
I don’t know who it is yet, but I’m going to record number 400 tomorrow because it’s a milestone. I think this is a milestone. 400 episodes. So I wanted us to find someone who had never been on, someone who I knew people wanted to hear, someone who was relevant, who was in the news. So we can get it.
I’m recording today. The show will air next Thursday (July 18th) as it will be the 400th episode, but I’m really looking forward to recording the show today. Now, Rose Game episode 398 which happened yesterday was a very interesting interview for them. I hope you’ll stick around until the end and listen.
Chad’s AI song about what Nick Vial said to Andy on the couch after the final rose, I played it at the very very end because last night My system was a bit unstable and for whatever reason I couldn’t insert it and then I realized how to insert it anywhere I wanted in the audio file.
But for now, when I was recording last night, I had to save it for last. So I hope you all enjoy the song, but it does bring up an interesting question, I don’t want to call it a dilemma. Because I don’t think it’s a dilemma for the show. There is no shame in this show. They don’t care who they embarrass or who they embarrass.
That’s why when they post these Instagram posts, it’s all out of their mouths like, Hey Bachelor Nation, we understand you’re a fan, but remember our contestants are real people too. We will not tolerate any abuse or racism. The producers are the ones who frame these people and give them reason to go after these contestants.
That’s the problem. It’s very hypocritical of them to do this. Now, whether they say it or not, whether I say it or not, just like I do every season. To anyone, just don’t follow these contestants. There’s no reason not to send them a private message. Don’t write anything nasty on their Instagram page.
Don’t even say that on message boards because they are all looking for stuff. If you respond well, then they shouldn’t do it. How about you just don’t say what you should say? Especially if it’s super negative, especially if it’s abusive, especially if it says something that you think will offend them.
Let’s just say, if you see something they wouldn’t say to their face, don’t write it on the message board. Don’t blame them for checking message boards. How about actually taking some responsibility and blaming yourself for writing this? Write to your friends, this is not public knowledge.
Because anything that’s public, these contestants are going to find a way, and they’re going to see it. They are very, very interested in what the public thinks of them. This is why some people curate a character online. Now, whether you agree with this or not, it’s neither here nor there.
The most important thing is that they will see what you write publicly. So if someone on this show bothers you, or someone on the show does something that you totally disagree with and you’re really mad at them, just text your friends and let them know. You don’t need to put it on a message board. You don’t need to put it on their Instagram.
You don’t need to message them privately. They don’t need to hear this from you. So, going into this season, keep that in mind. Of course, what I just said may raise a lot of eyebrows because we see this every season. Just like we start Jen’s season on Monday. I already know that at some point during the season, there’s going to be some kind of scandal and someone’s going to get a lot of hate online.
One of them is going to get a lot of hate online. People would insult him. People will talk about him. They would send him private messages. At some point during the season, one of them might post an Instagram story or even an Instagram feed post saying.
You know, please understand that we are real people too. This happens every season. We know this and no matter what we say and what we tell people, don’t do it. I just wish people would actually listen. You know, it’s nice because it doesn’t need to be said. You should never get excited about this show.
I don’t care what other people do. Literally, I don’t even want to go there, but you know what I’m saying? I mean, we’re talking about, if there’s a felony committed on the show, you have good reason to lash out at that person. But someone said something in ITM. It makes you bother writing them.
No, there is nothing that should upset you over what someone said on the show. I don’t care how arrogant they come across, how cool they think they are, no matter what they say to another person on the show and maybe they insult him. It does not give you the right to address that person to their face. It just won’t let go.
don’t worry. When the next season comes, it will all be gone, like it does every year. This podcast is brought to you by Prolon. Today, many people are learning about the benefits of fasting.
