Caribbean destinations such as Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Grenada and St. Maarten offer an alluring combination of pristine beaches, vibrant local culture and modern amenities.
Below is a destination update featuring new, renovated and upcoming hotels in the Caribbean.

Aruba
- brand new The St. Regis Aruba It will open in late 2024 with 252 rooms, including 52 suites. Highlights include private cabanas, an infinity pool and a customized spa experience at the Iridium Spa.
- this Iberostar Aruba Hotel Will open in October 2024. It will have 240 suites, a rooftop bar, three restaurants and a spa on Eagle Beach.
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort Recently opened. The hotel has 330 suites and nearly 4,000 square feet of meeting space. Guests have direct access to the beach palapa via a private tunnel.
Bahamas
- Hilton British Colony Nassau It has reopened after a $50 million renovation. The hotel is located in the historic Nassau Castle and has 288 guest rooms. It also has 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space that can accommodate groups of up to 800 people.
Barbados
- pendry barbados It is expected to debut in 2026 in St. Peter’s on the west coast of the Caribbean island. It will feature 74 newly designed oceanfront guest rooms, a private dock and multiple specialty dining concepts. The hotel will be unveiled at the same time Pendry Apartments Barbados.
Curacao

- InterContinental Dominican Capri Resort & Spa Recently opened in douglas bay. The hotel, a converted Kempinski resort, will feature 151 rooms, four swimming pools, a spa, a fitness center and 8,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space when it opens.
Dominican Republic
- Santo Domingo Marriott Hotel Piantini Recently opened in the city center santo domingo. The hotel has 207 guest rooms and suites with city skyline views. The hotel has the largest ballroom in the city, with nearly 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and five breakout rooms.
- Kimpton Russ Mercedes Recently opened and housed in a 16th-century building, it will feature 130 rooms, including eight spacious rooftop suites and three conference rooms for up to 300 people.
- The St. Regis Resort & Residences at Cana Cabo Set to open in early 2025, it will offer 200 ocean-view guest rooms and suites, signature St. Regis butler service and a world-class golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
- Zemimiches All Inclusive Resort is a new all-inclusive, 502-room resort located on a half-mile stretch of pristine oceanfront in the Dominican Republic and is expected to open later this year.
- W Punta Cana All Inclusive Hotel It will open in Uvero Alto in 2025. This adults-only all-inclusive hotel has 349 guest rooms, including several suites, all with balconies and private plunge pools. The hotel plans to offer adults-only programs including a spa with 11 treatment rooms, a retail area, three swimming pools with swim-up bars and 11 food and beverage outlets.
Greneda
- this six senses wisdom Newly opened, located between the ocean and a protected bay in the south of the island. There are 56 two-story pool suites and 15 villas on 38 acres, including Earth Lab, an engagement and innovation center where guests can learn about the natural world first-hand.
saint martin
- JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa It recently opened in Dawn Beach, St. Maarten, in the former Westin Dawn Beach Hotel, which suffered severe damage from Hurricane Irma in 2017. restaurant options.
