Today is the only Wednesday column this season that may not have a Reader Email. I didn’t have enough time yesterday to warrant writing a column, and besides, I need to provide you with episode-by-episode spoilers for Jenn’s season in written form. However, I will be doing a detailed analysis of the Jenn season trailer tonight on my YouTube channel (@RealitySteve24) at 8pm EST/5pm PST. Once the video is complete, I’ll insert it into this column so you can follow the process of putting people in specific locations/dates, etc. piece. I’m guessing this live broadcast won’t take more than about 20 minutes, plus pauses and comments and stuff like that. It definitely gives you a way to put names and dates on faces because I know after an episode it’s not easy to remember who was who and how long they lasted. As you can see in these spoilers, this is actually just episodes 4 and 5 in New Zealand, where it’s a little confusing who goes home for what time. But through the process of elimination, I think I’m pretty close. After the spoilers, today’s daily roundup begins on page 3.
Here’s a YouTube live broadcast I did tonight that breaks down the Jenn season trailer to help you understand some of the episode-by-episode spoilers you’re about to read. enjoy…
Rose Ceremony #1 Los Angeles, California (25 vs. 18)
-Sam McKinney First impressions are roses.
-Jen played a game of truth or dare with the men. In this game, Devon chose the truth and was asked, “What conspiracy do you believe in?” He said he believed 9/11 was an inside job. Had a bad reaction in the room, but it didn’t show in the episode.
Rose Ceremony Elimination Round: Brendan Barnum, Brett Harris, Dakota Nobles, Kevin McDevitt, Matt Arnold, Moz Smith and Ricky Marinez.
The 18 people remaining after the 1st Rose Ceremony are:
Aaron Erb
Austin there
Brian Oates
Devon Strader
Dylan Buck
Grant Ellis
Hucky Moulton
Jahan Ansari
Jeremy Simon
John Mitchell
Jonathan Johnson
Markus Schoenberg
Marvin Goodley
Sam McKinney
Sam Ahmadinejad
Spencer Conley
Thomas Nguyen
Thomas Azzano
Rose Ceremony #2 Australia (18 to 15 years old)
Group date: Eight people had to perform at a comedy show at the St Kilda Sports Club and in connection with the Melbourne Comedy Festival which was taking place at the time. Those attending the date were Aaron Erb, Brian Autz, Devin Strader, Grant Ellis, Jeremy Simon, Jonathon Johnson, Sam Nejad and Marvin Goodly. Australian comedian Bec Charlwood serves as “host”. Brian, 32, was teased for being the oldest. Jeremy and Jonathan were teased for being short. They call Sam Ahmadinejad the “Persian Virgin.” A bunch of “underground” jokes refer to these guys trashing it, because of course they do. Grant Ellis received the group date rose.
One to one: Marcus Schauberg. They parachuted out and landed near Mount Ormond.
Group date: 9 people go on a date at the zoo. Those attending the date were Austin Ott, Dylan Buck, Hakeem Moulton, Jahan Ansari, John Mitchell, Sam McKinney, Spencer Conley, Thomas Nguyen and Thomas Azzano. Dylan Buckor received the group date rose.
Rose Ceremony Elimination Round: Hakeem Moulton, Jahan Ansari and Marvin Goodley.
Rose Ceremony #3 Australia (15 to 11 or 12)
One to one: Spencer Conley. They took a helicopter to the famous tourist attraction Twelve Apostles.
Group date: Group date for 10 people at a male striptease burlesque show. Dancers from Thunder Down Under coached the men beforehand. Joining Jenn as guest judges are Becky Miles and Ellie Miles, two sisters who are single together in Australia in 2020. Dylan, Grant, John M., Jonathon, Marcus, Sam M., Sam N., Thomas N., and Thomas A.
-Almost all of them stripped down to their briefs at some point. Only 2 didn’t.
-Sam Ahmadinejad was the last one to perform. He wasn’t in costume, asked them to turn off his microphone, and then he talked to Jenn and told her he was in love with her.
-Jonathan ended up winning the strip date, but I don’t know who got the group date rose.
Group date: The foursome went on a date while racing on the professional circuit. The 4 people are: Austin, Aaron, Brian and Jeremy.
At some point after this group date, Aaron Erb eliminated himself because he was called home from flight school and basically had to leave now or apparently have no chance of getting his pilot’s license. I heard he was going to edit like a hero and he was leaving the show to fly to our country.
Rose Ceremony Elimination Round: Brian Oates and Thomas Azzano. Aaron Erb had to knock himself out to go to flight school.
Rose Ceremony #4 Auckland, New Zealand (11 remaining)
That’s the only thing about the season and knockout rounds that’s a little confusing. I originally thought 11 people went to Auckland. But in the trailer, there’s video evidence of 12 people – Austin, Devin, Dylan, Grant, Jeremy, John M., Jonathan, Marcus, Sam M., Sam N. , Thomas N. and Spencer. We know of only 7 people who will make it to Seattle. So New Zealand had 5 people eliminated in two episodes, but I don’t know how that happened.
The 4 guys who will definitely be eliminated at some point in New Zealand are: Austin Ott (self-eliminated in episode 5), John Mitchell, Sam Nejad Nejad) and Thomas Nguyen. The preview includes a shot of Spencer and Dylan on a group date in episode five, so it’s clear they’re both heading into the next episode. I just don’t know which one got eliminated in episode five and which one made it to Seattle. I’d say Spencer, since he gets one-on-one opportunities that Dylan never does, but that’s just a guess. The main thing to know is that 5 men are eliminated in the next two episodes.
One to one: Sam McKinney. Skyfall Dates. Basically a form of bungee jumping from the side of a building.
Group date: Rugby date.
One to one: Devon Strahd. In the trailer, we see them having dinner at the theater on their date night, and Devon tells her he’s in love with her.
Rose Ceremony Knockout Since we know Austin, Dylan, and Spencer are heading into the next episode, it looks like John Mitchell, Sam Nejad, and Thomas Nguyen were eliminated in this episode.
Rose Ceremony #5
One to one: Jonathan Johnson. They took a helicopter to the winery.
Group date: This was the only group date where I had no idea what they did. However, in the trailer, we see Devon running up to Jenn in the middle of a herd of sheep and kissing her while lying on the grass. This happened in episode 5, but we know he didn’t have a one-on-one in this episode because he had just been in the last episode where Jonathan and Grant were one-on-one. So that photo of Devin was definitely from the daytime portion of the group date. I just don’t know why we don’t see anyone else in that shot when they’re surrounded by sheep and they’re running around each other. Maybe he won the team event and got overtime? Anyway, the shot of them kissing among the sheep was the daytime portion of the episode’s group date.
Austin Ott self-eliminates at some point during the day.
One to one: Grant Ellis. Went riding.
Rose Ceremony Elimination Round: Austin Ott self-eliminates during group date. Then either Dylan Buck or Spencer Conley would be eliminated here. The other is heading to Seattle. Again, I guess Spencer only advanced because he had one-on-one matches, which Dylan never did.
