Every network is different, and CBS is proving that today with the release of its fall 2024 schedule.
While we TV fanatics long for a return to our favorite shows like Elsbeth, Blue Bloods, NCIS, and FBI, CBS wants to keep us salivating for more a little longer.
It’s not our favorite thing, but maybe it means fewer interruptions so we can enjoy our shows the way they’re meant to be enjoyed – with very little disruption. Hey, we can dream, right?
CBS today announced fall premiere dates for five new and 15 returning series in primetime for 2024-25.
Official “CBS Premiere Week” kicks off Monday, October 14, with a full week of original series, including the NCIS Season 22 premiere and the new two-hour series “NCIS” : Origins,” starring Austin Stowell as young Leroy Jethro Gibbs and narrated by Mark Harmon.
The fall lineup includes two special “sneak peeks” ahead of premiere week on CBS.
The new Thursday night drama “Matlock,” starring Kathy Bates, premieres Sunday, September 22 (8/7c) from Channel 57th “60 Minutes” season premiere.
The Summit, a new Wednesday night action-adventure reality competition series set in the New Zealand Alps, will air on Sunday, September 29 (9:00-10:30 p.m. ET; 8:30-10:00 p.m. ET), hosted by Manu Bennett PM, PT) with a strong lead in both NFL ON CBS games and original 60 minutes.
In addition, the popular reality TV show “Survivor” also made its debut in the 47th episode.th The show returns for its 14th season premiere week on CBS with a two-hour episode on Wednesday, September 18 (8/7c)th The final season will take place on Friday, October 18 (9/8c). The #1 drama series Trackers returns on Sunday, October 27th.
