Canada’s hospitality industry is entering a new era of growth, characterized by ecologically conscious architecture, luxury upgrades and culturally rich transformations. These six properties show how developers can meet traveler expectations and event planners’ needs in 2025.
According to the KMT’s Canadian hotel industry outlook, 2025 is shaping a strong year for the new Canadian hotel event, which will reach its highest level since 2019. The number of new rooms this year will be twice as many as last year – 6,500.
Canada’s hotel options are as wide as the country itself. The six new entrants range from sustainable waterfront resorts on Prince Edward Island to Art Deco gemstones in downtown Montreal’s shopping and office buildings to the iconic hotel overlooking Niagara Falls.
