Prism Comics is a LGBTQIA+ diversity and representational nonprofit comic in comics, graphic novels and popular culture that has been around for over 20 years, with its annual celebrations returning to West Hollywood, California in the fourth year of queer comics, video games, role-playing and more.
Prism’s Q Con will be available to the public for free, and will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Fiesta Hall, Plummer Park, Santa Monica Blvd 7377, West Hollywood, California.
As always, this year’s major events will be family-friendly, giving adults the opportunity to find a variety of comic and graphic novels that offer a certain queer representation in an exciting, colorful event. “LGBTQIA+ People of all ages and backgrounds need to see themselves and the stories they represent in the art – know that they are OK, they are accepted and powerful.” Ted Abenheimpresident, prism comics. “Q Con offers us the opportunity to do this – boosting queer voices in comics and graphic novels, bringing the community together, and having a lot of fun at the same time!”

How do comics and cultures fight homophobia and phobia? Will the fun of ridicule politicians affect their opinions? Can comics change the way people think about the queer community?
