The announcement of the Airdrop and Token Generation Activity (TGE) program quickly attracted significant attention from the community. On social media platforms such as X and Discord, users have begun sharing wallet checking guides, tracking snapshot times, and guessing potential token valuations when they go public.
Through clear strategies, strong technology and a rapidly growing community, Eclipse is considered one of the most famous Tier 2 projects in the current wave of modular blockchain innovation.
Eclipse reveals new details about the upcoming Airdrop and TGE
On April 9, 2025, during the AMA the day before, the Eclipse development team announced several critical updates about its upcoming Airdrop, marking a significant milestone in the project’s journey to bring Solana-based VM-based Layer 2 to the Ethereum community.
One of the main highlights is confirming the Turbo Tap snapshot, which will record the Airdrop’s qualified user data. The team plans to take snapshots this week. After the team completes the snapshot, a checker website will be launched, allowing users to verify their qualifications for their rewards.
Eclipse plans to launch and list its local tokens on the Token Generation Activity (TGE) over the next 4 to 5 weeks. This timeline is one of the most obvious signs that Eclipse enters its acceleration phase, finalizing the rest of the components before the network is fully real-time.

An overview of solar eclipse
Eclipse is an emerging-layer blockchain built on Ethereum, but powered by Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) for transaction execution.
The project aims to combine the strong security and deep liquidity of Ethereum with the high-speed, low-cost performance of SVM, the technology that makes Solana stand out in the world of high-performance blockchain.
Eclipse officially launched its mainnet in November 2024 and has quickly attracted more than 60 decentralized applications and integration partners, including well-known platforms such as Pinksale Finance, Gecko Terminal and Infortiant.
According to the project’s Block Explorer, the network has processed more than 20.9 billion transactions with an average throughput of about 1,676 transactions per second (TPS) – highlighting its strong potential for scaling Web3 applications.
