Mattel and Warner Bros. found that global consumer products have signed a multi-year licensing agreement to take advantage of the DC franchise. Through partnerships, Mattel will promote the DC universe through a variety of products.
In this license agreement, Mattel will have the right to develop DC-themed products, including action numbers, drama episodes, accessories, role-playing products and adult collections. The agreement will also cover the production of all DC characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Joker, Harley Quinn, and more.
The deal is built on the company’s existing relationships, which include over 30 brands and franchises, including Friends,,,,, Ted Lasso, Seinfeld, And more. The existing agreement will expand the rights of Mattel products across preschool, plush, gaming and other toy categories.
