What prompted you to launch the Yoonique LLC?

I decided to turn my passion and expertise in the luxury toy industry into a business. Previous colleagues who are now a member of Yoonique supported and understood my vision. My vision includes customer-first approach, high quality standards, workmanship and “Yoonique” stylish plush.

We work closely with the design and production teams to source the latest fabric trends, patterns and textures. Plush toys not only comfort objects, but also use powerful tools to express emotional expression, personality and connection.

The first pluzz sub-series are inspired by the neighborhood dog you and your dog Chloe meet during your daily walk. Poppy fans can buy other animals and characters – how are they inspired and what will collectors expect from this line in 2025?

The new category is designed by converting everyday items, hobbies, interests and favorites into cute companions. The variety ranges from tradition, fashion, seasonal, mythological and whimsical. We have sports huge, fantasy, seals, foodies, fruits, bars, etc. Our latest pluzz subcategory is created based on feedback from confusing speed competition.

How do Candy Bears get their names? Are they different from other teddy bears?

The Candy Bear features a special combination of super soft spandex and bright colors and tones accents. When the first series of candy bears were sampled, it looked like a bag of fudge bears burst out in our showroom and was scattered with candy bears in over 30 colors.

What roles do sensorimotor and stress relief play in the design of Beauty Cubes?

The cute cube design has different textures such as buttery soft “rabbit fur” fabric, 3D cube shapes, colors and embroidered details to create a calming gaming experience. The cute cube also comes with a “yoonique” pop-up registration that gives the character name and mini resume.

Chubzeez is soft, squeezed, whimsical plush. What do consumers expect from the upcoming Chubzeez Mystery Capsules?

People love mysterious capsule/box toys and the excitement comes from not knowing what style you will receive. We used fluffy and soft chubzeez, combining them with vibrant metallic colors. These will come with a clip that you can add to your bag, keychain, suitcase, or backpack.

What did Yoonique plan for 2025?

We are excited to launch a brand called “Lababies” in late spring 2025. Our core brands are getting seasonal refreshes, including our Candy Bears. They will be released in the Halloween and Holiday classifications.
