In May, Dynamite Entertainment and Disney are on an epic journey centered on a giant comic book, centering on a brand new comic series, one of the most complex and compelling characters in the series. The legendary gargoyle creator Greg Weisman Work with the original series co-presenter Frank Paur To reveal the long moments of Demona’s millennium history, it includes the introduction of her mysterious daughter Angelika.
Demona has been one of the most powerful figures in the gargoyle mythology for centuries, but much of her long and turbulent past remains a mystery. When the Manhattan clan was frozen by stones, Demona was left to the world to roam alone, shaping its own destiny through conflict, revenge and heartbreak. Gargoyle: Demona will explore five critical moments in her life, beginning in the dark age of 994, where she set out to seek revenge on Canmore, a mission that will keep her fate for centuries.

For the first time, fans will be introduced to Demona’s long-lost daughter Angelika. Unlike her immortal mother, Angelika is bound by time, leading to a tragic emotional story, asking: What happens when a mother watches her child grow up? As the series unfolds, fans will witness a sharp contrast between Angelika and Angela, deepening the greater tragedy of Demona’s existence.
To celebrate this must-read storyline, May’s Free Comics Day will offer a special preface question, giving fans the first viewing of the series.
Gargoyle: Demona It also marks the first in-house comic work by visionary animator and director Frank Paur, who co-produced the original Gargoyle series with Weisman. Paur, a long-time fan favorite who is known for his work on the X-Men: the most powerful hero on Earth, initially pushed the idea of the series to Weisman and with editor Nate Cosby, SLG The colorists of the times collaborated together Robbie’s nameand the teams of dynamite and Disney.
In addition to excitement, each issue of the series will feature an amazing variant cover, including artwork by Frank Paur himself, as well as renowned artist Meghan Hetrick ), Jae Lee and Mark Spears.
