Needless to say, Krypto stole the show for the first time Superman Trailer, so you know everyone’s favorite Super Dog will be a big part of the promotions for Warner Bros. and DC Comics. Sure enough, details were announced today at ComicsPro ’25 DC Krypto: K Krypton’s last dogthe new five miniseries of the creative writer team Ruian North and artists Mike Norton With color Ian Herring. First debut on June 18, a month before Superman The film, publisher describes the Krypto miniseries through the empathic eyes of the Ultimate Outsider as “the heartfelt and moving vision of human beings, good and bad: a poor man, lost dog, happens to have a superpower.”

Here is what writer Ryan North explains the project:
“The origins of Krypto have always been at a high level,” said author Ryan North. “This little guy started with Kk and eventually arrived on Earth and helped Superman fight crime. The chance to truly define Krypto – show if He landed alone in a strange alien world called Earth, so what would the lost dog go through – really tempting. I also fell in love with the idea of seeing Krypto as his actual dog: He doesn’t speak, we Nor will cheat by reading his thoughts in the balloon. Mike Norton’s art captures what needs to be “sayed” in every scene. Krypto tells us who he is, and how he feels Like all dogs: through his expressions and behaviors, through body language, barking, sn, licking and sighing. Dogs are some of the most expressive animals, we absolutely love them, I want to say a truly capture and respect these Animal stories, especially krypto.”
Artist Mike Norton is no stranger to studying comics with dogs, most notably battlepug. So it’s no surprise that he calls this a “dream project.”
Here is how the publisher describes this Krpto mini series:
DC’s Krypto: K Krypton’s last dog The comic series begins Krypto’s journey on the planet Krypton. Jor-El and Lara are working on a ship that can keep someone alive in interstellar space, but when their first test (inside Krypto) caused a catastrophic error, people thought the dog would be lost . What they are unknown is that Krypto and his spacecraft just entered an unexpected portal of space-time, and a few days later, from his point of view, even decades of real-time, Krypto landed on Earth.
North elaborates on the structure of the Krypto miniseries:
“Each problem with this miniseries is a complete short story that combines the entire story of telling Superdog. In these stories, we see Krypto faces a strange new world. He travels from town to town, with People meet and make friends with people, sometimes help solve their problems, sometimes find their own problems. He is a very good dog.”
He added:
“Krypto will never give up hope even in the face of evil. He is strong, he is brave and brave and friendly.”
Except for the main cover Jae Lee The first question for this Krypto mini series will be Dustin Nguyen.
