The highly anticipated shooting has begun Super Girl: The Woman of Tomorrow Starring the movie Miley Alcock In a nominal role. Before the movie arrives next summer, the characters will appear in the upcoming Superman Movie. It’s no surprise that DC Comics Publishing plans to drive roles with the Superman Summer initiative. Therefore, fans are also looking forward to Super Girls attracting people’s attention. Sure enough, a new one was announced today at ComicsPro ’25 DC Super girl The ongoing series will be written and explained Sophie Campbellfamous for her work Wet moon and IDW Teen Ninja Turtle.

Kara Zor-el has been a key member of the Metropolitan Superfamily, but Campbell returns to the roots of the town of Midvale to bring Supergirls into a new direction in a familiar setting. But after so many years, returning to her hometown has raised some challenges: there is already another supergirl there that can protect the town and save a day’s challenge. Readers will have to check out the debut question on May 14 to find out if the real Supergirl can spot the identity of the impostor and stop them before they steal her life!
As a fan of the characters’ undisguised fan, this is Sophie Campbell’s dream project, he revealed:
“I went into the comics industry, mostly I wrote and painted my own graphic novels, so doing the same thing with Super Girls is like I’m back to the roots of storytelling.” Super girl Writer/artist Sophie Campbell. “My main touchstone for Kara Zor-el is the story of the 70s and wild costumes, 1984 Super girl Movies and CW shows, I am a big fan of mine. “I’ll take advantage of some of these influences as the series unfolds when creating this version of Supergirl. ”
Needless to say, Super Girl wears many different costumes in the comics. So, this new collection will be a new look for the Migh Maide designed by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau.
“I was very familiar with creating character designs and costumes after doing art for video games,” Artgerm said. “When designing new costumes for Supergirl, I wanted to create something fresh while keeping the key elements intact. I adopted the Sporty and fun themes, but punched, and incorporated these elements into the costume. I also changed the chest symbol to make it spin more dynamically. Sophie captured the look perfectly, I can’t wait for readers to see it.”
In addition to the main cover by series writer/artist Campbell and Artgerm’s solitaire and the first issue of Supergirl Onshounato Series will feature versions. Quequevely ((Super Girl: The Woman of Tomorrow), Pablo Villalobos,,,,, Joshua Middleton and W. Scott Forbes.
With Krypto, having gained so much love lately, fans are curious about other super pets, namely super cats. There are any signs in the art of design, and it seems we can expect Streaky to appear in this series. Let’s see if the fur will fly when Krypto and Streaky are in the same room.
Supergirl #1 will be available on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at participating comic shops and digital retailers.
