Licensed comics are being there for a while – this is a very obvious thing for me as I put together this top comic to buy on the February 19th list. It’s not a particularly novel idea – everyone seems to love Skybound’s Energon universe, and when explosives get the right property, they’ll definitely sell a lot of variants of covers – but two books this week shocked me because I The licensed attributes are particularly interesting. The first one is Aliens and Avengers, It stuffed its licensed franchise into the Marvel Universe in such an interesting way that it might rank among my favorite Marvel books. The second one is Godzilla robbed.
Honestly, I absolutely love what IDW and its editors are doing with the Godzilla license. They use his characters in time and space and genres, allowing all kinds of great comic creators to tell interesting stories. And, there are more ways to go about The Book of Godzilla Chicago later this month. Yes, I think this is a good time to get licensed comics, maybe driven by how hard the market is now. These titles are built on a fan base that might attract readers of external comics, and then they let go of all kinds of interesting works. it’s great. Anyway! Find more information about these two comics below along with my other suggestions and regular release listings… Enjoy!
Top comics purchased on February 19
Aliens and Avengers #3
writer: Jonathan Hickman

Colorist: Ive Svorcina
letter: Corey Little
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Engineers join the battle! But, in a world of cosmic heroes and genetic mutants, engineers are not the only gods created. As engineers set out to destroy what they did, the remaining heroes of humanity discovered a more pressing threat: the X-Men.
Why it’s cool: This is one of the most unmanaged apocalyptic crossovers I’ve ever read. It not only comes from alien Show up, do a little, and be beaten out by Captain America or anything else. No, it actually infers the threat of these creatures to cover the entire Marvel Universe. That’s great, and on this issue it continues to bring more miracle characters into the competition, like the big crossover event you want.

Godzilla Robbery #1

Colorist: Heather Breckel
Lettering and design: Sandy Tianaka

Jai is a young man who knows two things: robbery requires good interference and is not as distracted as Godzilla. So when Jai discovers that Godzilla responds to a specific energy signal he can send to the atmosphere, he creates a great opportunity to conduct a high-profile robbery in the Godzilla attack. But these looters put Jai in the circumstance of some very dangerous men, those who want Jai to work with them to complete the most dangerous job in the world!
Why it’s cool: As I pointed out in the introduction, Godzilla robbery It’s another comic that uses Godzilla to provide us with a comic, which is a great comic, which is simply fun. This time, it’s a robbery story (apparently). One thing I found out about the current Godzilla comic line is that creators tailored almost every type of character to familiar characters. Of course, these are kaiju’s stories…but they almost set it all behind, in favor of something more character-driven. it’s great.

Spears caught by Lotus Cultists contact the spores opened her mind in unexpected ways, unlocking memories that should have been buried… As torture and interrogation intensified, she will What secrets will be discovered in the depths of detention, and more importantly…what will she become?
Why it’s cool: The book features a wide range of social floral mutations, worshippers, stubborn detectives of complex pasts, and horrifying body horror works of art. What other comics do you want? I love this series and I think the issue is especially well done and its interrogation scene is shocking.

New God #3
writer: RAM V.
Artist, Chronicle Sequence: Riccardo Federici
Artist, the current sequence: Evan Cagle
Colorist: Francesco Segal
letter: Tom Naples
Publisher: DC Comics
In the universe, an inter-religious Inquisition introduces Apokolips and the new Genesis, bringing a sinister message: conversion or being destroyed. Meanwhile, on Earth, Mr. Miracle and Big Barda dragged with their children, searching for the mysterious child mentioned in Metron’s prophecy, desperate to find him before Orion does. Is this child – this new God – the Savior of the Universe? Or can he become the reincarnation of the greatest evil in the universe?
Why it’s cool: I mean, have you seen any internal pages of this book? Evan Cagle is a revelation, and the editors have done an amazing job adding pages to some of the most interesting artists in the comics. I’m just thinking about the core level, and this book has been working on making New God DCU surprisingly boundary squeeze. It (correctly) wants to distinguish it from other superhero comics to enhance its characters and fit the so-called things New God.

Why it’s cool: Jamal Campbell has always been one of the best artists working in the DC Universe Naomi and Distant departmentsBefore working with Joshua Williamson and Co. Restart the flagship Superman title. Now, he’s done as the new sole creator Zatanna The limited series, the first issue will never be missed.
