Beat: What do we think on the first question, or, more importantly, what do we think of the new sovereign and legitimate leader Victor Von Doom?
George Carmona Third: I can’t believe this is Doom’s fourth snatch/control of everything. First of all, this is the classic Marvel Superhero Secret War (1984), Next is a shooting The Emperor of Doom (1987) and his last acquisition Secret War (2025) Before entering A world of bad luck.
D. Morris: This time Latveria’s favorite son will definitely be right! He’s not here Mark Wyder and Mike Wieringo Run away too? For some reason, I think this happened during that run, too.
GC3: If I remember correctly, he switched it, used magic, and took over Hell to fight FF.
Jordan Jennings: Hey, don’t forget Doom 2099!
DM: The following bad luck represents!

JJ: Still, Doom’s world is like Charlie Brown trying to play that boring football.
DM: Yes, no matter what Ruian North and RB Silva Try to bring it up, Doctors to run the world is a) neither a novel idea nor b) this success.
JJ: In their case, even the comics hint at the fact that they beat Doom every time they pull this stunt. At least they tried to have a lampshade, but it did feel like a very tired concept. Given the current state of the world, is it local? Of course, but this question is like the above After the bad luck Starting in 2099
GC3: But not really, it’s more like Victor slipping, surpassing or realizing that it’s not worth bothering.
DM: Yes, if Stan Lee and Jack Kirby Collaboration in the dictionary’s doomsday may be a arrogant entries. His ego is in the way he is, or he becomes humble. I think what troubles me with this opening question is that it wants to think that the acquisition method of doom is very local and very dense. Everyone wants what he provides, and what he provides is a solution to the world’s dilemma. But the more I think about it, the more I think about it, the more I get angry because its own interests are too smart. North’s script seems difficult to answer every potential plot vulnerability, which seems to only invite you to see the vulnerability of this setup. Just like everyone on Earth won’t buy doom and sell it to them this problem?
Tim Rooney: I’ll definitely do some whipping here. The familiarity with the current event at the beginning is shocking, but this motivation cannot be passed through. There are a lot of chats and settings here, which is not RB Silva’s strength as an artist, and Quippy conversations reduce the threat. But I also like it, which puts the heroes at a unique disadvantage, who are actually fighting popular ideas raised by the infamous liars.
JJ: The beginning is very effective. Capture the whole “Miracle is the world outside your window”, but the worst is.
GC3: I like them jumping in directly without chasing people. Tim, I agree with all this the funny house mirror is a little shocking. Sadly, I will doodle in the real world.
JJ: One thing about Doom 2099 is that fascists are still better than the corporate world around this world. The North is very wise. It helps to establish a personality worship of doom. You can beat a man, but you can’t beat an idea. Heck, look at what Orchids do in the Marvel Universe. They mainstream anti-obsessed hatred in a socially acceptable way, which gives the X-Men an impossible task to win the minds of the people.
DM: If Doom also offers student loans and/or debt forgiveness, I would say “my Liege.”
GC3: This is what makes Victor so dangerous, he gives them what they need and want, but that’s the price they end up paying.
![Doom and Baron Zemo, BFFS plans to achieve a better, brighter future through racism!](https://www.comicsbeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/OWUD2.png)
TR: I think it’s smart, even if it makes this issue exciting, I think it’s smart. It’s less interesting to see Doom takeover in the end than the lost reaction to his power. And determine that the hero will be with the machine selling lies with the machines that make people stand beside Doom, but has not yet shown us any dark secrets behind them, but has built expectations and established the scale of Doom’s charismatic leadership .
DM: I think what puzzles me the most is the turn at the end. I was tired of the sounds I heard, and it was a question: “Why are heroes no longer saving the world by getting rid of villains? Why do they keep the status quo?” Well, they are heroes. If they killed the villain, they wouldn’t be heroes. The question about why they want to keep things going, especially smart people like Reed Richards or Tony Stark, is a much more interesting question, I think this is in this There is greater potential after the series. I’m interested in how this will get answered.
GC3: As JJ said, this is one of the problems with the miracle ideology of “this is the world outside our window”. You have to avoid problems like why Iceman doesn’t fix Polar Caps, why Stark doesn’t use free energy to connect the world, why doesn’t Wakanda stop the slave trade?
TR: I don’t know that this makes the most sense, but I’m also grateful to see Captain America clearly remind everyone who has a Nazi allies or comforted the Nazis that even the “greater benefits” will never answer. This is a moral compromise and there is no room for improvement.
JJ: That’s a character moment that I really like. Cap understands that they are not comforted.
GC3: Oh, there are some amazing character moments in this book, and the hat is very solid on “My Enemy’s Enemy” nonsense. Peter and Johnny’s conversation on the plane to Ratwaria is a classic miracle drama banter.
![The hero is not satisfied with the Doom/Zemo team.](https://www.comicsbeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/OWUD3.png)
DM: What I’m going to say is that during that conversation, I was annoyed by some jokes North tried to punch holes in the logic of superhero comics. Yes, it would make more sense for Sue Storm to build an invisible plane or Spider-Man’s famous cyber parachute to be structurally unreasonable. This is a personal darling when the author tries to think he is smarter than what they write about. I think it’s OK to go back to my question, which is smarter than actually.
tr: North laughs at the fun of comics in comics without breaking the comics, by taking root in the characters. However, the tongue in the cheek method must be based on some emotional weight to make him stand out in Fantastic Four, but mostly non-existent in the first question, which may be necessary to make the wheels move The function of expounding. I suspect we will get more roles as we move forward. There are moments that stand out here, but not all of them are integrated
GC3: I can forgive most of it because the artwork is gorgeous. Silva’s line work and storytelling have been excellent, plus David CurielThe color I’ve been focusing on Torch Flame and Victor’s next generation Kirby Dots and his Dino-Steed attacks on Hydra.
DM: This is also my biggest gain. Silva’s art for this is indeed the best in the first issue. Their work on this book is truly convincing. The action sequence is amazing. If Marvel is doing anything right now with their event comics, it is to put their best artists in these books.
TR: Silva’s work and television broadcasts in large board scenes are a bit flat, but his layout in huge moments is amazing. There is a close-up on the Miracle that she will pop out of the background, when combined with Curiel’s excellent, bright colors, that will actually evoke the big band Avengers score in your mind. The pace to reach that point at the bottom of the page is good, this is the best way to get the classic superhero comic. Color does make everything pop and keep crowded pages from getting messy. This looks great.
GC3: Silva knew his role by working in several major Marvel activities. There is a panel where we only see the outline of the hero, but he conveys who is who in shape, which is not an easy skill.
DM: I think of the difference in body language before and after Zemo meets Doom. You know there are things that are not just because the conversation tells us suspiciously, but that Zemo’s pose has told you. I hope this book will bring their careers into the stratosphere.
tr: When all the heroes come together, there is a lot to enjoy visually, while different characters have a lot of stories to tell and establish themselves.
![Our heroes slam a bunch of Nazis](https://www.comicsbeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/OWUD4.png)
Beat: So what is our final judgment on this book?
JJ: I like this question, but this is another story arc that might just be the main book. This story is too much, but Silva’s art is amazing. really Browse Since there are better attempts, you can try this kind of story.
GC3: I thank Kilmonger-ish for the question “Victor is right?” I wonder how Marvel will put the elves back into the bottle once our heroes bring back patriarchy and all of their problems. One of the reasons why I love hunting The event is a lasting consequence, such as Victor becoming the Sorcerer Supreme. But I’ll suggest one purchase On artwork only.
JJ:Doom makes some valid points, but ultimately he will fail and make a mistake that will take the world across the world. This might be some Deus Ex Machina that can help heroes turn the trend. They have tried to do the whole Doom thing in the leadership of the FF problem.
tr: I think this is good, but not bombarded like I hoped after the previous few pages, like a lot of events, it’s better to read the deal, so this is a Browse at present. Asked me again a few months later.
DM: Granted, I’m not a big fan of Ryan North’s work on Fantastic Four, and I know this may not be my tea. Apart from RB Silva’s artwork, this vision of doom and his plan (we all know it won’t succeed) is not as fresh as the script. But Silva’s art really worked for me, so this is Browse For me.
