Miniso has reported significant growth in the U.S. since launching its rewards program last year. The international retail chain said it added plans to 2 million people and increased its membership by 250% in 2024.
The program was improved last month to expand privileges to consumers. Miniso offers exclusive membership benefits in its rewards program, including birthday blind box cards, discounts and lower thresholds for SVIP members. Member spending three times compared to 2023. The company also reported that the result of the program was that a quarter of last year’s performance was attributed to blind box purchases, surpassing other categories.
The brand added 449 new stores worldwide in the first three quarters of 2024. The company is in more than 40 states. Miniso attributes its success to many of its licensed properties, including One Pie and Harry Potter, as well as its dynamic business model, including pop-up stores.
