Hello, nice day!
The Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair is just around the corner. The largest international trade fair for toys and games opens in Nuremberg on January 28, with its own cocktail party.
Show visitors can look forward to inspiring innovations, improved hall structures and personal networking opportunities. Spielwarenmesse will have 2,362 exhibitors from 71 countries and 13 product groups spread across 18 halls.
School supplies, stationery and creative designs covering the entire back to school season and stationery will be on display in its own hall this year. Visitors can find these exhibitors in Hall 2. Hall 7 will also house the Trade and Industry Services Center, responsible for marketing services, packaging, cash and commercial systems. Hall 7 will continue to house the Sports, Recreation and Outdoor groups, with expansion into Hall 7A for overflow. Visitors can try out new toys in this area, which has a 500-square-meter testing area with different floor services, a test track and a halfpipe.
Specials in Hall 3A will showcase inspiring products and the New Products Gallery, which promises a compact overview of new products. In the adjacent Hall 3C, guests can visit the StartupArea and Toys Go Green, focusing on sustainable toys.
The children’s area will include collectibles, creative fantasy and table games and will be located at the central entrance of Eingang Mitte and will feature live activities. ToyTrends is also a trend in this field, selected by a committee of members from 11 countries. Some of the themes this year include anime and health heroes, with a focus on exercise, mindfulness and healthy eating.
“We continue to develop the content of Spielwarenmesse and have created new structures with the use of additional halls, which will greatly benefit the entire industry,” said Christian Ulrich, spokesman for the board of directors of Spielwarenmesse eG, the event’s organizer.
“In addition, through a series of social events – all held in an attractive and relaxed atmosphere – we encourage an even more important exchange of ideas between participants,” says Ulrich. Spielwarenmesse eG pointed out that a study by the German trade fair association AUMA showed that 60% of business contacts are more likely to be conducted face-to-face rather than in a digital environment.
Attendees can mingle and mingle at a number of events, starting with the Toy Business Forum and ToyPitch on day one. Located in the NCC West foyer, the LicenseLounge with its LicenseTalks collection is expected to be the centerpiece of all activities related to the licensing business. The ToyAward ceremony is scheduled to be held on January 29 at the Toy Business Forum, with awards covering six different product categories. Toy Fair hosts events throughout the rest of the week dedicated to hobbies, games and more, creating centers and opportunities for fans of all types.
The Toy Fair will be held next week, from January 28th to February 28th. 1. Members of The Toy Book team, including Vice President and Group Publisher Jackie Breyer, Editor-in-Chief James Zahn, and Executive Director of Sales and Marketing James âJDâ Devin will be in attendance.
