The Pokémon Company plans to expand its brand by working with Aardman on future projects. Aardman will bring his unique storytelling style to the Pokémon universe with a special project coming in 2027.
Founded in 1976, Aardman is a multi-Academy Award and BAFTA award-winning studio known for producing films, TV series, games and interactive entertainment. Consumers are most familiar with the studio’s work super invincible boss dog, shaun the sheep, Timmy timeand deformation.
The two companies showcased their upcoming collaboration to consumers through YouTube Short. The 10-second clip, which showcases the iconic Poke Ball in a stop-motion style, received more than 4,000 views and more than 900 likes in its first hour of release.
