Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt Red turns four years old today, and to that end, it’s rolling out a surprise patch for its now-released open-world RPG. The team held a live streaming To wrap up some of the big changes in patch 2.2, which comes more than a year after its release phantom freedom expansion, 2.0 overhaul,as well as Big romance update. It sounds like this Should be the final update for Cyberpunk 2077but CDPR has Already said it no longer works for games But what I’m writing about here is another patch, so who knows? Now, let’s break down what’s new in Night City.
The new patch was developed in partnership with Virteous and focuses primarily on player expression. Nicknamed “Express Yourself,” the patch includes new vehicle customization options such as color and tint changes that you can apply on the go. You can also scan any car you see throughout the game to add patterns and paint jobs to your vehicle, so now you don’t have to steal a car you like off the street. Changing your colors and patterns on the fly will also help you escape the police if you’re on the run.
I usually drive my motorcycle in the following areas Cyberpunk 2077so most of it is nothing to me. However, CD Projekt Red has also confirmed that Johnny Silverhand will now sometimes appear in your passenger seat while driving and react to things like you crashing the car or staring at him for too long. Keanu Reeves reaches his true potential as Passenger Princess.
The game’s already excellent camera mode has also been updated. The biggest change is that the camera is no longer locked to the player’s position, and can now enter drone mode to fly freely in a certain area. Collisions between the camera and the character and environment are also gone, which opens up a lot of options for the shots you can take. A new aspect ratio option has also been added, but due to technical limitations, this is only available on PC. The coolest addition, however, is the ability to spawn different NPCs in photo mode, which you can then pose next to V for a photo. Be right back, I’m going to take some photos with my boyfriend Kerry and post them around my apartment.
In addition to this, CD Projekt Red has added over 100 new assets for character creators, including new eye options, panels, makeup, nail polish, tattoos, and more. The full patch notes are below:
new features
- Rayfield’s CrystalCoat™ technology was originally designed only for Rayfield vehicles and is now being adopted by other automakers. You can now change the paint job on Herrera, Mizutani, Quadra and Villefort vehicles. Pro Tip: Use CrystalCoat™ to trick the police and lower your NCPD wanted level!
- Kiroshi launches TWINTONE™! As CrystalCoat™ continues to grow in popularity, TWINTONE™ takes your painting jobs to the next level. Simply scan your car using Kiroshi optics, switch to the TWINTONE™ tab, and pay a small fee to save your vehicle’s color scheme. You will then be able to select a solution from the TWINTONE™ database under the CrystalCoat™ menu. There you’ll also find common color schemes for all CrystalCoat™-compatible vehicles, as well as unique color schemes unique to the models that replicate them. Please note that color scheme cloning is not allowed for vehicles that are mission-related, belong to the NCPD, or are incompatible with CrystalCoat™ technology.
