Pokémon TCG Pocket Provides players with multiple ways to express themselves. Even if you prefer to use metadecks in tournaments, you can still represent yourself with badges or your favorite cards. Another way to differentiate yourself is to use your profile icon. While you only start out with six to choose from, if you’re lucky you can more than double your options.

There’s a good chance you’ll encounter someone with a new icon during combat or while using Wonder Trades. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t tell you on the surface how to unlock more icons. The existence of some is mentioned in some menus, and others are secrets that require real dedication to score.
How to newly unlock profile icon
We’ve identified two ways to unlock more content Pokémon TCG Pocket Illustration: Complete Dex missions or purchase from the store. There are some caveats to both methods, which we’ll detail below.
Let’s start with the Dex task. You can find these missions by clicking on the Missions button in the lower right corner of the home page or battle screen. - Mewtwo icon: Collect 5 Mewtwo cards
In addition to the above icons, there is also a set of icons specific to secret missions. Registering 226 cards in Dex will cause new tasks to appear. Completing it will unlock icons of Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Charizard. While there are many cards to register, only those with Diamond rarity are counted. The second method is to buy the icon from the store. So far these appear to be limited to events and may be missed. You can now switch between the original six profile icons or any of the profile icons you’ve earned.
I do want to emphasize that this menu only shows what has been unlocked so far. There aren’t any handy gray icons or anything to indicate that you might have more stuff to unlock. Be sure to keep up with the activity and open boosters whenever possible to add more icons of your choice.
