December 5, 2023The Florida Joker himself, Lawrence Sullivan, posted a video on TikTok in which he claimed that Rockstar based the character on him and that they needed to “talk” to Sullivan. Then December 11thSullivan later demanded that Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two Interactive pay him $2 million.
“We need to talk or [if] It’s not like you have to give me a mil or two,” Sullivan said. “Florida clowns don’t have this, you took my likeness, you took my life.”
December 13, 2023Sullivan claimed that he would sue Rockstar over the entire incident. However, in Marchhe backed down and instead demanded hundreds of thousands to voice characters in the game. Rockstar never seemed to respond to Sullivan’s threats or demands.
