United Wheels has appointed Bruno Maier as its new chief executive. Maier has served as chief operating officer and president since Claude Jordan retired in 2022.
United Wheels is the global holding company of Huffy, Niner, Batch and Buzz Bicycles. The company sells bicycles at thousands of retail locations in the United States and more than 50 countries, shipping more than 5 million bicycles annually.
Meyer began his career 30 years ago as a sales associate at Huffy’s. Before returning to the corporate world, he held positions at Pacific Cycle, Cycling Sports Group and PeopleforBikes.org.

One of his successes has been investing in all brands of Huffy BMX and e-bike platforms.
