- This year marks the 20th anniversary of the original broadcast of “Samurai Champloo.” To commemorate this milestone, the Samurai Champloo Video Clash contest invites fans to create new videos using footage and audio from the anime. Outstanding entries in the music video and short film categories were selected from numerous submissions from around the world.
- The Music Video category includes two awards: the Flying Dog Award (selected by director Shinichiro Watanabe and his staff) and the Community Award (determined by popular vote). Suckafish80 won the FlyingDog Award, while Skildfrix’s entry won the Community Award.
- In the short film category, the winners were videos by moumi-note and meme. The two winners in the Music Video category are now available on the FlyingDog YouTube channel – don’t miss your chance to watch them!
