Sony has announced that more PlayStation 2 games will be coming to the PS Plus Classic catalog next month, with the lineup including two of the best platform games ever released on the console: 2004 Cunning 2: Band of Thieves and 2005 Cunning 3: Thief’s Honor. Oh, and of course, some other stuff is coming in December for all PS Plus subscribers.

The big news is that Sony will be adding more PS2 games to its classic catalog in December as part of the company’s ongoing 30th anniversary celebrations. These older PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games are only available to PS Plus Premium subscribers.
This time, Sony is finishing the OG Sly Cooper trilogy plus crafty 2 and cunning 3, The best game in the series. Back in May, Sony added the original Sly Cooper. Since then, I’ve wondered when or if the other two games would be released. It’s great to see some of the best platform games released on PS2 finally available on PS4 and PS5. It’s easier than ever to play these colorful platformers about a talking thief raccoon who steals valuables from criminals around the world while avoiding the police.
It’s a shame these are just so-so emulations of PS2 games rather than the more fun-looking PS3 remasters, but Sly Cooper Fans will take what they can get at this point. (Oh, and jack and daxter That’s being added too, which is nice.
The last game to be added is from 2013 Sly Cooper: Thief of Time. This will make the entire series playable on PS4 and PS5. Unfortunately, the game was released on PS3, so it won’t be playable natively on either platform, so even if it does eventually launch, it will be as a streaming title.
