Cartoon Books Just Announced New Kickstarter BONE Deluxe Edition Part 1: Valley, A very large reprint of the first two books bone graphic novel, Departing from Bonneville & great cow race. The campaign will launch on November 26, 2024 at noon ET, but you can check the BONE pre-release page on Kickstarter for the latest updates.
The 352-page edition includes many extras: photographs, early scripts, drawings, essays and reviews, and a preface by the author. Maggie thompson. The artwork will be in black and white, revealing the story behind the production bone and cartoon books. Printed in a 12.5″ x 8.75″ format – larger than previous reprints – there will be hardcover and paperback editions, each with slipcase.
Bone is an undeniable comic book classic, so owning a deluxe edition of it is tempting, even if you already have a few copies (like The Beat ). The editions most familiar; Cartoon Books’ beautiful single-volume hardcover edition (the one closest to Stately Beat Estate), the color single-volume edition, and the former black-and-white deal. But it sounds like the most luxurious version yet.
This is also the second edition after the “Cartoon Book Deluxe Edition” series THORN: Complete Proto-BONE College Strips 1982 – 1986, Released earlier this year. Future releases will include deluxe editions of Jeff Smith’s other titles, including RASL and TUKI.
