Dragon Age: Veiled Wardens is a massive epic role-playing game about the destruction of the world and your past. It’s a game with a lot of flawed people trying to band together to stop people who think they’re doing the right thing, but it kills a lot of people. But who cares about all this? I’m here to talk about kicking people off cliffs over and over again and how much fun it is.
Released last month, Dragon Age: Veiled Wardens is BioWare’s latest third-person action-adventure role-playing game. After releasing the live shooter game National anthem and open world inventory simulatormass effect andromeda and Dragon Age Inquisition, Veil Guard It feels like a return to form for a famous studio. New RPG is more linear, more character-focused, and may be the best since BioWare Mass Effect 3. One of the things I love about this game is that it lets me kick enemies big and small off cliffs and into giant pits.
Entered early Veil Guardmy character was given a special ability to perform a powerful drop kick that knocked enemies into the air. Over 40 hours later and I’m still kicking fools and smiling every time. I know the game probably wanted me to try out more abilities, and I did, but I always keep Big Kick in my hotbar. I can’t imagine playing Veil Guard without it.
Encountering a big enemy with tons of armor and health? Kick him off the cliff! Dangerous ranged bad guys harming me and my companions? Kick them into a giant lava pit! A little monster that can be easily killed in two hits? Of course, why not? Kick that little bastard off the side of the mountain and watch them sail into the void below.
Veil Guard’s The narrative, combat, characters, and world are all great and I absolutely love this game. But I’d be lying right now if I said Dropkick wasn’t a big reason why this new RPG is currently on my preliminary games of the year list.
I’ve talked about this before my city, and death loopbut I give a thumbs up to any game that lets me instantly defeat an enemy by kicking them off a cliff, building, or ledge. Veil Guard Let me end a boss fight in seconds by kicking an enemy off a platform. Great stuff.
Indeed, more games can be learned Veil Guard. If you want people to have more fun, add a big kick button.
