“RED HULK” will be the first “ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM” tie-in, written by: Benjamin Percy and art Jeff Shaw. Fans can see Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross transform into the Red Hulk on February 26, just in time for the film Captain America: Brave New World starring the eponymous character.
“When I learned about the One World event at the end of the world, my thoughts immediately turned to Thunderbolt Ross,” Percy explained. “A man who bleeds red, white and blue (especially red) will not tolerate a global takeover. And his experience – as a soldier on the battlefield, as a military strategist in the war room, as a A walking weapon of mass destruction – will make him a target for Doom long before he takes action.
“So I came up with a story in which Ross would be kidnapped by Doom and forced into a ‘think tank’ prison, where he would be tested in various wartime scenarios. That’s where we started – in a book that doesn’t give you a break The book of time. It moves, moves, moves with constant motion and tension.
