timeThe little animal-like lady is loved by the Ice Prince is a brand New Romance Comics from Yen Press. Adapted from the author’s light novel of the same name Jade and the role of design aguocomics by Sawai Mai. The first volume takes us to a familiar scenario involving a royal arranged marriage, and some frozen hearts are melted in the process!
Liliana is the darling daughter of an earl. Now that she is 16 years old, she is expected to attend the royal ball. Liliana was content with him living a leisurely life in a comfortable home, but her family was equally reluctant to send her to such a secret blind date. Why would she try her best to become queen anyway?
Prince William, nicknamed the “Ice Prince,” is about to ascend to the throne and will soon need a Crown Princess by his side. Liliana dressed as plainly as possible and made no effort to converse with the prince other than to greet him at the ball. So why did William still choose her to be his fiancée? What could she do to break off the engagement?
With its colorful and warm cover, The little animal-like lady is loved by the Ice Prince Looks like the first volume in a casual and cozy series. as a reader who is Anyone familiar with light novels knows that these novels or manga adaptations have long explanatory titles. Usually, what you read in the title is what you get.
Also, the first volume or chapters of a story in which a cheeky/cute/smart heroine melts down a cold/alienated male protagonist often feels similar. This sense of familiarity is inevitable because the story has just been set up and the skeleton of the plot is more or less comparable. As the story progresses, the plot becomes more diverse.
In that sense, although I can say that was the case with the first volume The little animal-like lady is loved by the Ice Princethere are some small details that I appreciated and they enhanced my enjoyment.
One aspect that worked for me was the way our heroine Liliana was written. She was raised by loving parents and two doting brothers who supported her decision, and it’s clear that Liliana’s desire to marry the man she loves comes from a healthy relationship between her parents. While I can’t predict how others will fare, this is a breath of fresh air for all the abusive families who do unthinkable things to their children and run rampant in the romance and romance genres.
Liliana is a fun, easy-going young woman who loves to eat and live her life as carefree as possible. However, she is not a typical simple-minded person. I love that she loves learning new things and has a playful side. This playful side, coupled with her cute face like a small animal, is what deeply penetrated the heart of the prince.
In this book we discover some details about William’s character and find out the reasons for his slight distrust of women. besides. The show doesn’t drag on setting up the plot and introducing the motivations of its central characters. Despite Liliana’s busy and expressive demeanor, the pace isn’t too fast Do Give off that feeling. It’s good for the leader to start getting into a comfortable rhythm early.
The character designs are gorgeous. The lines are clean and the characters are mostly easy to distinguish. While there are a lot of close-ups of just facial reactions, the volume doesn’t lack for detailed background, food, or objects when the setting calls for it. Readers are greeted by three full-color pages, which in the print edition are on glossy paper. Thanks to Olivia Osans-Gonzalez’s lettering and Emma Shumaker’s translation, the book is an effortless read.
Overall, I have fun Read Volume 1 The little animal-like lady is loved by the Ice Prince. I Do I think a clearer conclusion will require reading at least another volume or two, but the introduction is enough to make me want to check out the next volume!
I can easily recommend this title to readers who are already fans of the romance genre. However, for those of you who are looking for a cozy, sweet, charming read to warm your heart, fall is now upon us! At least for those in the Northern Hemisphere.
