Japanese publisher Sekai Bunkasha announced on Tuesday that Hirotaka Nakagawa, Suzuki WingWith Hiroe Aoki’s south dejanin (one Kansai The dialect expression means “What the hell?” or “What the hell are you doing?”) The picture book series will get a light animation adaptation. World Culture Agency published the first south dejanin Picture Book 2013.
This picture book is filled with silly and hilarious stories, like waking up in the morning and realizing you have a bun on your head, or when you take off your pajamas and you realize you’re wearing a loincloth.
World Culture Agency has published the second book in the series, titled Ofero de Nandyanin (What the hell are you doing in the shower?) in 2017, followed by Yunchi de Nandyanin (What the hell are you doing at an amusement park?) In 2018, Nandian Maho (What the hell are you doing with magic?) 2019, and Umi de Nandyanin (What the hell are you doing at the beach?) 2022.
