Look at what was received in the mail yesterday. Yes, this is my own extremely expensive 960 page hardcover omnibus collection that contains almost All published DC/Marvel connections, many of which I have never read before (of the content included in this book, I think I’ve only read Batman from the 90s and the one by the great Roger Stern and Steve Rudd The Incredible Hulk/Superman.)
At first, I wasn’t sure what to do with the book, as far as blogging. I could certainly simply feature it in my monthly review column because it yes I bought a book this month, but considering the pace at which I read comics at the moment, I think it will take me over a month to finish it.
So I thought I’d review my reading style and write a post for each new chapter/crossover as I read it. In addition to covering the book more fully, this also means posts on EDILW will be more frequent.
I hope to start reading it this week, so look for the first post about it in the near future. In the meantime, the next Wednesday month post will be up on, well, Wednesday, so check back, along with reviews of everything I’ve read in October.
