Chris Rock hopes to break into Hollywood with his new film fog green.
Rock will direct and star in the film, which will premiere at the American Film Market next week. Neon International is responsible for foreign broadcast rights, and CAA Media Finance is responsible for domestic broadcast rights.
fog green Adapted from Rourke’s original screenplay, it centers on a talented actress whose career is suffocated by a vice. Things change when a director (Rourke) offers her a tailor-made role that could finally rekindle her path, albeit complicated by their tumultuous past.
Casting is underway for the film, with Locke and Peter Rice serving as producers, along with James Lopez of Macro Film Studios and Tommy Oliver of Confluenceial Films. Serving as executive producers are Charles D. King of Macro Film Studios and Codie Elaine Oliver of Confluenceal Films.
Rock has previously directed the following films: head of state (2003), i think i love my wife (2007) and top five (2014). His recent projects include a 2023 Netflix special Chris Rock: Selective AngerDuring this time, he discussed being slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars the year before.
He has also starred in some movies recently Rustin, amsterdam and Spiral: From “The Book of Saws” and the FX series Fa Ge. Locke began his film career Beverly Hills Cop II and performed well on the NBC show saturday night live.
