Based on a true story, Tatum plays a former Army Ranger and struggling father who robs McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname “The Roof Man.”
After escaping from prison, he hid in a toy store and started a new life, where he fell in love with a single mother and her two daughters. However, his criminal past and final heist threaten to ruin his chances at redemption.
Miramax acquired the film in some territories, including the U.S.
Paramount Pictures will distribute in these territories as part of a premiere agreement between Miramax and Paramount Pictures. Producers are Lynette Howell Taylor, Jamie Patricoff and Duncan Montgomery.
