a fan letter That’s exactly what its title describes in the best possible way.
What a breath of fresh air. It’s hard to sum up all my feelings in one review, but suffice to say I consider this a win. one piece It’s many things to many people, but it will always be a story of ordinary people saving each other and changing the world in extraordinary ways. “Fan Letter” captures this essence and distills it into twenty-four minutes of enjoyable animation, while setting up and executing an entire supporting cast’s character arcs away from the main narrative.
I think the appeal here is how down-to-earth it all is. A young girl and two Marine brothers are watching world events, some taking place in the story’s distant past, and some taking place closer to the present. They had no extraordinary strength or destined prospects, but struggled under the bombardment and were pushed aside by the pressure of the crowd. We see major battles through their eyes – distant laser beams seen only in sparks of light, huge fists felt miles away as they shake the earth – and realize that in this era What it means to be a human being.
But through it all, they kept trying. Like us, they were inspired by Luffy, Nami, Brooke and the rest of the Straw Hats. Like us, they eagerly await the latest updates from pirate gangs around the world. Like us, they thought Chopper was too precious for this world.
All of this is presented in an extremely captivating visual language. The characters are lively and smooth. The settings and interior locations feel familiar yet fresh, rich in detail and well populated. All this was sung without interruption for twenty-four minutes. Throw in surprise cameos from members of the Straw Hats, some genuinely funny dialogue, and a complex enough plot, and this is an absolute home run. this reminds me a lot chicken nuggets The noodle commercial from a few years ago, in a relaxing and surprising way, evoked many of the same deep emotions and themes that run throughout the series. I think this is not only a must see one piece fans, but it might also help those who don’t know the series get to the heart of it all.
